October 2013 Host - Veronica - Private Location - 10/21/13 7pm

Does anyone want to host October's book club? It can be at your home (prerferred) or at a public location of your choice that you organize.

Also, I am hoping to have the date squared away the first week of October to allow people to plan ahead. Please comment on here with the date you prefer (whether you want to host or not) from the following options that appear to work with those who told me their availability. Due to the holidays coming up in the next few months, the dates that I have planned out for options are earlier in the month instead of later:


Monday, 10/14 7:00p
Saturday, 10/19 1:00p
Saturday, 10/19 6:30p
Sunday, 10/20 6:00p
Monday, 10/21 7:00p

Any of the days should work for me, though the weekend times would be much easier. I'd like to discuss hosting it at my house when we meet at Casa de Pico. (I'd feel safer talking in person rather than leaving any info online).

Based on last nights discussion, I've solidified the date & location for October's meeting.

Meeting will be held on Monday, October 21st 7pm at Veronica's. I've slotted the time as 7-830pm but this is subject to change once I have a chance to talk with Veronica to make sure that isn't too late for her with the kiddos.

Please refer to the EVENT listing for further information (food, drinks, location, etc).

Hey all --- Veronica and I talked and we are going to cancel the meeting for this month. We've all been super busy, no one has finished the book, and only two people responded to the invite as "yes". So, next month we will discuss both October & November books!!
