Vincent Lowry (vlowry) | 9 comments Have you read any cool sci-fi blogs recently?

Do you have sci-fi blogs of your own?

message 2: by Rowena (new)

Rowena (rowenacherry) | 19 comments I cannot remember the url but The Galaxy Express is pretty cool.

There's a link to it in the sidebar of

alien romances

Alien Romances has some pretty cool teaching blogs by Jacqueline Lichtenberg.

Brooke | 0 comments I really like http://fantasybookcritic.blogspot.com

They review speculative fiction, highlight upcoming releases, interview authors, etc. It's where most of my to-read list comes from.

SpyNavy | 4 comments I think Wil Wheaton runs one as well. He is the guy that played Wesley Crusher (the kid) in the old Star Trek The Next Generation series.

Sci-Fi channel has some links to various blogs as well.

I frequent that one a lot, too. He has links on his site to several other good blogs as well

Joe | 1 comments io9.com is a great source for sci-fi news as well. given its a bit broad, though, as it covers just about every medium sci-fi can appear.

Marc (authorguy) | 348 comments My son is a big fan of http://forum.spacebattles.com/

Patrick (horrorshow) | 25 comments I have a chapter by chapter posting of my second book on my blog. It's a science fiction horror if you are into that...

Thanks Brooks for that posting. Will check it out.

The URL is in my profile if you wish to look at it.

Stefan (sraets) My favorite is SF Signal (http://www.sfsignal.com). I also regularly read Tor's blog (http://www.tor.com - and it doesn't only deal with Tor books). While not technically a blog, I often check SF Site's reviews (http://www.sfsite.com). I have a handful of other SF&F blogs on my Google Reader, but most of them are of specific authors or publicists, not general SF&F news.

Carolyn (seeford) | 203 comments I like the Tor blog and David Brin's blog (not only about SciFi books, all over the map.)

message 12: by Damon (new)

Damon (damonl) | 6 comments karl schroeder has a decent blog, so does Charles Stross, And Bruce Strelings Beyond the Beyond is always good for scifi on the ground...right now!

Danielle (queentess) John Scalzi (author of the Old Man's War series) has a pretty entertaining blog called The Whatever (whatever.scalzi.com). It's not exclusively a sci-fi blog, but he does these little blurbs called The Big Idea (http://whatever.scalzi.com/category/b... he promotes other sci-fi books and authors. It's a good place to find new talent or reading ideas.
