I love it, had love it the first time round, still loving it now. Basically, I love the tangle of relationship between the characters in there. What about you?

This quote really stuck out to me. It's Tessa and Charlotte talking about Will, Jem, and Jessamine.

I got so into the story I finished it today. I'm really surprised, because I didn't have very strong feelings for The Mortal Instrument books (although I've only read the first 3). My problem was that I was always more interested in the side characters (like Simon, and Alec) than Jace and Clary. But I found all the characters in The Clockwork Angel to be really interesting.

I think everyone has read Chapter 3 so I will post this question. It was the third of those Discussion questions I had posted earlier and doesn't really relate to the story, maybe someone can connect it.

Chapter 3 begins with a Robert Browning quote, “Love, hope, fear, faith—these make humanity; These are its sign and note and character.” Do you agree? What other characteristics do you think are the hallmarks of humanity?

This quote reminds me of a bible verse "above all things, love". That's probably misquoting terribly but I think that LOVE is a cut above any other quality and sets us apart as humans. But along with listed words, I always think of others, like honestly, humility, respect...

Maybe because he doesn't come off quite as angsty, or try to claim ownership over Tessa? I'm interested to see what we learn about him and how he grows in the next two books. (hide spoiler)]

They are too good, and usually I will go too fast through a story - any story - that sometimes before I even know it, I am at the end of a book.

TID is my preferred series out of two, the writing is better, and I love Tessa and all the characters in TID series.
