Susie (dragonsusie) | 2469 comments It appears, according to the logs, that the book has already been edited by the author then rescued. Well it appears that the author has decided to remove both book title and author again.

This appears to be a book that isn't released yet. Now I can understand why they would want to remove the description, but the rest should stay.

Is there anything that can be done about this, save an all-out editing war?

Paula (paulaan) | 7014 comments I have reverted and added a stronger note to contact this group if there are problems but there is nothing we can do except keep reverting unless GR Staff revoke his author status / ability to edit.

Susie (dragonsusie) | 2469 comments All I hope, then, is that they notice that! But I check the blank profile daily, so I'll soon spot if they've done it again...

I as a fan and reader had done that, please do not dump on A.B. McKinley or bad- mouth him. I am the one at fault, my intentions were to get interest so when released it would encourage sales for him and interest in his other books. I am very sorry for having caused this problem, as it has had a created great angst for all parties. Again, I apologize. Suzanne

If you added that book to Goodreads then that is OK. The problem is not that the book was added to Goodreads, don't worry about that.

Susie (dragonsusie) | 2469 comments I have received a message from the author apologising for his actions, as he didn't understand GR policy on these things. I've explained things a bit and that it is quite typical for fans to add books as soon as they hear about them. Hopefully this one is now all cleared up! :)
