Great map Almeta! I like that you have (almost) all parts of the world covered :)
Here is my World map for my 2013 reads. I have actually been to more places than I thought! :) However, most of my books are set in either the UK or USA.
And now for a closer look at Europe
It's great to have read books set in Russia and the US/Canada: that covers a huge part of the northern hemisphere :D
Lol! I know, it makes it seem a lot more impressive! :DAfrica and South America are looking a little left out. I might have to see if I can fix that.

There are some very colourful maps in our group. :)
I wish the map was of places I'd actually been in 2013. That would make me very happy. But I'll settle for a visit via books until I win the lottery!

I went back to add Venezuela and can find no edit option. If I click on Worldmap, it is blank. I am missing the correct edit option somehow. Otherwise I will have to do it from scratch each time.☻

@Almeta and Janice: did you create an account on the website? When I log back in, my World map and Europe maps are still there, but I just realized my US map disappeared. Hm, it would be kind of useless if you have to start all over again every time.
I'm on another computer now and wanted to add China, but all my maps have disappeared :(

Hm, it's a bit too much to check all the boxes whenever you read a new country. I'll see if I can find another website that works better :)
I found another website which I think does work, www.whereivebeen.com. I think you need a facebook account to use it though, and I can't figure out how to post my map here. It gives me a link, but it doesn't do anything when I post it.
Go to a map-making website (I recommend BigHugeLabs because you can save and update it), and mark the countries that were the setting of books you read. Gives you a nice overview of where in the world you've 'been' :) I might have forgotten a few! It also made me realize that around 80-90% of the books I read are set either in the US or the UK...
