Thomas | 1 comments So I'm a huge Dick fan (that's fun to say) but I have yet to read his Valis trilogy (Valis, The Transmigration of Timothy Archer, and The Divine Invasion). I recently read Radio Free Albemuth having no idea it was Valis related and loved it. I ran and bought a couple of Valis to read next and then saw that it was written after Divine Invasion and Transmigration. Does it matter what order I read these books in? Is there a suggested path to take?

John Alan | 13 comments The order in which the books were written is:
Radio Free Albemuth
VALIS
Divine Invasion
Transmigration of Timothy Archer

You may have been looking at editions published at different times. Radio Free Albemuth was published significantly after PKD's death. Transmigration was written just before his death and published after.

David Merrill | 14 comments There isn't really an order to reading these, since it's really a thematic trilogy, but they're generally collected in order of publication.
