Anima, I liked the story and was already familiar with it, as I vaguely remember watching a movie version years ago. It was a bit disturbing and sad, and it felt like it ended rather abruptly just when it was really getting interesting! I also found it a challenging read. For some reason I had trouble following the author's description of things and had difficulty picturing in my mind what he was trying to describe.
