I've added everyone to the Participants list and updated the reading schedule. The assigned chapters for each day have been posted above for the first four books in the series. The fifth book will be posted later this week. And lastly, to clear up any confusion that there may be, the Mortal Instruments series read is expected to end during the 2nd week of November.Thank you!

The Mortal Instruments series read is now closed to new participants. Thank you to everyone who signed up! I certainly wasn't expecting that many people to jump at the opportunity to read the series. Let's get reading!
Due to the large number of PMs I have received about shortening the assigned reading for each day, I have altered the reading schedule. Understandably, many of our participants are over-scheduled with school/work and found it challenging to keep up with the reading. Therefore, I have redesigned the reading schedule in my initial post. We will now be reading approximately 35-50 pages per day.Thank you!

So I take it that everyone's enjoying the series so far (particularly Grace)?
But still, you have to admit, the books are great, don't you think? I love her writing and descriptions and all that!
I think Alec does kill a demon later on, that is weird but in a way I don't think It is. I think Jace did all the killing & they never had 2.
