This is a 'Teen' YA, one of my ABSOLUTE favorite books from when I was in Jr. High. It also involves ghosts, and is really sad, too

Anna Dressed in Blood has a second book. Girl of Nightmares. Since people where wanting something Halloween worthy... And since Anna wasn't read that long ago (loved that one!) just a thought :)

I nominate Witchstruck since witches are usually associated with Halloween plus she's wearing an orage dress on the cover :-) and The Body Finder (AWESOME book, a definite must-read)

I would also suggest The Road of the Dead by Kevin Brooks and anything by David Wellington if you are really wanting a horror story. I own a few of his books but have never read them. I'm not sure if he is adult or YA because I've seen his books in both locations at the bookstores.
