Ending - (view spoiler)[I really liked the last Test. It was so epic!! The conclusion was awesome. The king was very intimidating, threatening that if she didn't return he'd kill Chaol then Nehemia and her brothers...

I was a little confused with the Duke's deception to Kaltain. Did the king actually order for the poison? Or Perrington made that up? Did the king actually signal Cain to kill Celaena?

Nehemia was amazing. She was suspicious so I don't blame Celaena for distancing herself from her. But in the end she made a fantastic ally and best friend.

It looks like the love triangle is here to stay. I do prefer Chaol though. (hide spoiler)]

This started off as something that could have been great, but seems like just an average book as of now. Hoping for something to happen soon.

General thoughts about the book structure, etc.
(view spoiler)[The writing is simple, a bit too much. Not a problem at all though. The plot has a ring of familiarity to it. And I'm pretty sure the villain is going to be Cain. I mean, it's clearly predictable and all, and I don't really think this is heading for a twist. (hide spoiler)]

UH.. You're lucky. Right now I am forcing myself to finish another book so I can start this. Its literally killing me. I find that walking aimlessly around the house more appealing. I am writing now to avoid continuing it.

It's the last weekend of the winter break before college starts, and I have exhausted everything I had to do :P

So far this book is awesome. I love it already!

I finish this already, and I have to say I did not find her whiny not at all, definitely not compared to a lot of girls and those type of books
She was pretty darn bad a star star
