Mini Non-Reading Games & Puzzles for Cupcakes - September - from Captain Cupcake & LK

Come here tomorrow then. I'm..."
Ummm, well, I think I'll start tonight with a glass of wine with my dinner...just to take the edge off for tomorrow :)

Be sure to look closer at the artist’s drawing in chalk,
discovered by these lovers on their little walk.

Please DO NOT post solution here. Mail to ratminichallenges@gmail.com with Puzzle # in subject line. Be sure to tell me what Team you are assigned, though I have most of you memorized!
Yes, this puzzle is worth two “bouncing” cupcakes.

A first in a series of “Two in Ones.”
Giving you entertainment, tons and tons.
First a slider and then jigsaw,
I wish I could give you a day at the spa.
I’ll cover all the Team colors, what a run.
Each set worth three “bouncies” when you are done.
One more thing; these puzzles are unique.
No need to hurry and finish them next week.
You have until the end of October, a nice long time.
Nevertheless, I must end here, to get this to rhyme.
PUZZLE #142: Mango Tango/Atomic Tangerine. Larger picture here.
Fifteen piece Slider puzzle is here. Please take a screen print and show the "Very good, you win." box.
Jigsaw is here . Be sure to select “22 Piece Polygons” as the cut.
Okay to post in thread.
This set of puzzles is worth three “bouncing” cupcakes

Wait. What is that? A wedding announcement?
What will happen with this momentous pronouncement?

It is back, again, but in Rampage Red & Yeowza Yellow.Puzzle #144
Definitely still mean, and definitely worth a bellow.
But the rewards are also much, much more.
With “Triple Threat” & “Cutthroat” cupcakes, certainly less of a chore.
One book is posted for a total of nine.
That’s pretty easy, and probably fine.
Eight books are listed twice.
And seven listed thrice.
Six books are listed four, each repeated.
Five books are listed five times. Getting heated?
Four are there six, and three times seven.
Stop at nine. Aren’t you glad we didn’t go to eleven?
Do you understand the trend?
The last are eight books listed twice. The end.
Find the duplicates, "Rampage Red & Yeowza Yellow". The books that are posted more than once are featuring the same covers as well as titles.
You do NOT have to make a copy of all the bookcovers. Just send in the names of the books, indicating the number (Example: “Call of the Wild X6”) & mail to ratminichallenges@gmail.com with Puzzle # in subject line. Be sure to tell us what Team you are assigned.
Yes, indeed! This puzzle is worth one “Triple Threat”

and one “Cutthroat Competitor”

Quickie Explanation of Cupcakes
• Cupcakes appear during a Mods’ Monthly Challenge.
• You earn cupcakes from Captain Cupcake for participating in mini-games and puzzles as posted in this thread for September. They’re totally optional, but a Team can cash them in to get free passes on challenges, or for extra points for larger books read. (More on this last below.)
• Cupcakes are tracked on a Google Spreadsheet on Captain Cupcake’s World of Puzzles & Cupcakes.
• There are links to the puzzles at the top of each column.
• Any column with a regular cupcake () only needs to be done once per team. These are usually easy jigsaws and slider puzzles.
• Any column with a “blinkie” cupcake () may be done by as many Team Members as want to participate. In fact, the more Team Members who complete the “blinkie” cupcake puzzles, the more options you will have when you cash them in. These are Word Finds, Crosswords, Doublets, Find the Duplicates and types of puzzles that are generally a bit more difficult.
• While “blinkies” may also be redeemed by the person who earned them (such as for hints for encryption puzzles), the cupcakes for BAPs are redeemed by Captains in the Captains’ Group.
• Sometimes puzzles are set up as a series. For these, on the spreadsheet they will change from a regular cupcake () to a cupcake of higher worth after the series is finished. Spot the Differences puzzles are an example of a series run and are coded grey in color. They only need to be done once per Team, but may be done by different Team Members. It is fine if you want to get together and work the solution.
• For regular and higher worth cupcakes you don’t get any bonuses for multiple Team Members completing them, but if you want to do them just for fun, there’s no reason not to! :)
• Blue cupcakes () are ones that were earned during a “48 Hour Cupcake Crazy” make-up period.
• Sunday Update ★'s are earned by Captains, or their proxies, if they are on vacation.
• There are three different type of cupcakes worth BAPs*. Below are the different size books/word count/page count breakdown :Cup Word Page Added Look Upon
cake Name Count Count BAPs* Redemption“bouncy” or
“chunkster” 112,500 450 1“Triple

or Cuatro 350,000 1,400 4
*BAPs = Book Advantage Books, which are each equal to one book read.

It was you. ☺

Hi Kimberly,
I have cut and pasted this cupcake information so I have ready access to it.
I have already redeemed a few cupcakes but I have some more I can redeem as well so all this will help with our team's scores.
By the way, are you any good at picking out repeats of book covers like in Puzzle #144 above? If so, would you like to do this puzzle for the team?

Awesome. You're a real champion. I hope you did well on it too. I can appreciate it doing your head in. I tried a Mean Green one they had early on in this round of the challenge; I gave up as they all started looking the same. lol

You are welcome. Glad you liked it.
Just added this (and fixed some type-o's)
