interested in starting a blog ... where to start!

hey everyone! I have recently decided that I wanted to try to start a blog. Now comes the big question, where do I start? Any advice?? Thanks!

you have to find a host. there are many of them but the more popular ones are Blogger, WordPress, TypePad and Tumblr.
You should check all of them out and find the one that you think will work best for you.
If you use one of them, and you find you don't like its, you can export your blog to another host.
so if you pick WordPress, your blog will be "http://yourblogname.WordPress.com and so on

Do you want a .com/org/net etc. find if your domain name is available. for example if you want your blot to be "thisblog".(whatever), find out if "thisblog.com" or "thisblog.net" or whatever is available. you can find out on http://godaddy.com
