Hope the Group will give Captain Nathan and Cate a read, "The Pirate Captain" is the first book in a series; adult historical fiction with a twisted love story. Historical Novel Society called it "an irresistible shaggy dog saga... marvelously entertaining..."

I read the excerpt from the Goodreads' page and the military-style plot was very tense and compelling with just the assassins, haven't even gotten to the monsters or baked goods yet!

I'm gonna go ahead and try my luck by posting about my own book, Shinobi 7: Trials of a Warrior.It's action/adventure/fantasy and in the YA genre. The book is inspired by my love for Martial Arts and the reader will be taken on a ninja-fighting adventure! The book's summary:

Thanks, Doug! If it is okay, then I would like to nominate "The Starlight Chronicles: Slumbering," book one of the starlight series from me, C. S. Johnson. If you feel nostalgic for high school and love superhero stories, this is an epic adventure you'll love. The book centers around Hamilton, who is a cynical, narcissistic teenager who is reluctant to save his city after learning he has supernatural abilities. It is hilarious and heartwarming, and my son needs a college fund, so please help us out or I will guilt trip you. Just kidding! Or am I...? Lol.
