Paper or Electronics? Which do you choose when reading?

Kayla, if you want a signed copy of my new Teen/Ya Horror, Hollow's End, I will send you one! Read it...if you like it, then spread the word!
I don't have a smart phone, so no reading on there for me. Though I use my phone at night as a light to read by!!
I don't have an ereader, but the more I hear about them the more I want to get one. I don't think it could replace paper versions for me, but it does have its advantages. Number one being, it can have multiple books on it and still be very compact. This would be ideal for travel!

I'm always going to choose paper. The smell, the feel of the pages beneath your fingertips...nothing can ever take the place of those feelings. Real physical books will always trump electronics.
However, as far as portability, availability, and cost go, eReaders are lovely. I have a Kindle myself and it's extremely useful especially when you don't want to lug a bag of tomes everywhere you go.

I totaly agree with u Areeba. Ebooks r ok but id rather have a real book in my hands. I love the feel of it and having 2 pages rather than 1. And if u have an ebook u cant get it signed. And if u have an ebook, u cant hold that big thick book. U hold an electronic. I like real books better.

Plus I'm addicted to collecting books and how they look on a shelf!
Habiba, u just took the words right out of my mouth.

And what about getting books signed by the author? Does it matter anymore?
