Ravenna giggled the whole way and was puzzled again when Jack didn't get off. She tugged his hand again. "Do we need to go home, Jack?" Ravenna asked softly.
Jackson shook his head of the thoughts "Huh oh no." he said and got up.
"You hungrt?" he asked, but of course he couldnt eat with her
Ravenna shook her head. "No."
"Oh.. ok. Would you like to do go karts?"
Ravenna's face lite up a bit. She nodded.

Ravenna smiled as she unlocked the front door.

Jackson had just finished chuckling over a conversation they had as they walked up to her house. He walked inside after her, shutting it gently behind him.(Lovely faces ^-^)
Ravenna froze a few feet inside. Her parents were sitting on the couch, basically fuming. "Hey Mom. Hey Dad." she said softly. They were almost never home. Why were they today?
Jackson hand't realized that her parents were home until she said something. He tensed. He knew that they would be pissed for taking her out.
Daniel, Ravenna's dad, stood up. Lips pursed angrily and fingers laced behind his back.
Ravenna shrunk away from him a little bit. She gave a tentative smile.

Jackson slightly stepped forth, his side covering Ravenna a bit. "Back home from work early, sir?"
Daniel didn't turn his gaze from Ravenna but still nodded. "Yes. We are." he said. He then addressed his daughter, he reached out and pulled her out from behind Jackson. "What do you think you were doing? I specifically told you not to go to the festival." he said.
Ravenna didn't answer him. She just looked at him, scared.

Jackson tensed whenever Ravenna's father grabbed Ravenna. The when he slapped her, he lost it. He pushed Daniel back, keeping Ravenna behind him once more. "Don't touch your daughter like that."
Ravenna was trembling. She gripped the back of Jackson's shirt. Her face hurt and stung. He had hit her really hard.
Daniel turned his head to look at Jackson. "Excuse me?"
Daniel turned his head to look at Jackson. "Excuse me?"
"You hired me as your daughters protector right? Well I'm protecting her from harm." Jackson said sternly.
Daniel's eyes narrowed. He didn't say anything. "C'mon, Marcy. We need to catch the flight." he said. Marcy nodded standing up. They were gone a minute later.
Jackson chest was rising and falling pretty rapidly, until they left is when he calmed. He didn't turn or move from his spot. He just stared ahead through his glasses.
"J-Jackson?" she asked quietly. Ravenna had seen him do this before and it scared her. She bit her lip before bolting up the stairs and into her room.
Jackson only blinked whenever Ravenna said his name, not really hearing it. But whenever she took off he looked over his shoulder to see she was gone and then looked to the stairs. He made his way upt he stairs and knocked on her door "Ravenna.." he said softly.
"What?" she answered softly. Her voice muffled by the pillow she had buried her face in.
"Why did you run.. from.. me?" Jackson asked, his head leaning against the door.
"It scares me when you do that." she admitted softly. Ravenna lied down on her bed.
"When I do what? I promise I'll stop.." Jackson murmmered through he door.
"When you zone like that. I'm not sure why it scares me it just does."
"I'm sorry.. please, Ravenna. I'll stop it just open up. I'm not going to leave until you do." Jackson said.
Ravenna laid there for a few minutes. She got up and looked at her face in the mirror. It was bruising. Ravenna gently pressed get fingertips against it. "Ow." she said wincing.
Jackson heard her 'ouch' but knew it was probably her finally feeling the pain in her cheek. "Do you want me to get you some ice?"
"Please?" she asked, gently probing the bruise. "Now I have to go to school with a lovely bruise on my face."
"You can stay home for the day tomorrow? I'm sure I can write you a note." Jackson said before heading down the hallwya, using his vampire speed, and back in a flash with the ice.
Ravenna opened the door, taking the ice from him and putting it to her face. "No. Its fine."
Jackson made sure to put his foot in the door in case she closed it. "Can I come in?"
Ravenna sighed. "Fine." she said and moved out of the way.
