Name: Death-Erlik
Gender: M
Moral Alignment: neutral
Reason for Moral Alignment: Everything has an ending and he does not desire to feud with sides on who doesn't have an end.

Appearance:(view spoiler)
Description: Tall and lean his muscles may be a bit intimidating but not as bad as his true power and his aura. With the slightest passing his power is noticed as death haunts the world everywhere at every moment. Erlik is not a force to be toyed with.
A quote from the Bible describes Death in such words:
"And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. "
– Revelation 6:8
FaceClaim:Rob Devita
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 167 lb.
Eyes: His eyes are black nearly pitch besides the whites of his eyes. this only occurs when in the daytime, but once darkness hits his eyes become reflective robs.
Hair: Shortly cut dirty blonde.

Angelic/Demonic Powers:
Death, also known as the Pale Horseman, is affiliated with Famine, War and Pestilence, although he is far more powerful than them. Death wears a ring with a white stone; unlike his brothers, Death's powers do not come from his ring. Death can kill by creating massive storms, tsunamis and hurricanes, or by using a simple gesture. Death can also resurrect dead people. Death has been kept restrained prior to the Apocalypse, and the last time Death was free, "Noah was building a boat." Death is released from his cage... by Lucifer's spell. Death acts under Lucifer's direction for most of the time during his age of release, but resents the archangel's control over him. After Lucifer's defeat, Death remains free.
1)He is immortal by default.
2)He is indestructible, although it is implied Death's scythe can harm him but that's his.
3)He can raise the dead and resurrect anyone he wants.
4)He can manipulate the weather to whatever he chooses or wants it to be.
5)He is omniscient - Has extensive knowledge of the universe.
6)He is omnipotent - Can practically do whatever he wants and go wherever he wants.
7)Necromancy-Manipulate souls and bones of the dead.
8)Elemental control causing great disaster for many.
9)Aura creation-effecting others emotions.
10)Touch of death-anyone who slight comes in contact with him can die if he wills it or doesn't pay attention.

Personality:eath is described as an arrogant, sarcastic, cold and calculating anti-hero who is resourceful and opportunistic. He has seen and done many things that could be considered immoral, ranging from genocide, the destruction of entire worlds and the creation of weapons of world-ending power. He doesn't wait for things to happen, rather, he causes them to happen. Death also appears to be quite cunning. Despite this, he cares deeply for his brothers and sister.
He took a blow for Famine, brought War back to life after being killed. He also showed that he was willing to stand up to the Archangel Council to prove his brother's innocence, and said to Michael at one point that he would "storm the White City" itself if it meant saving War. Additionally, he sacrificed both himself and the souls of the first Nephilim to erase War's supposed crime and resurrect humanity. War of course has committed many crimes.
He also saved Uriel and her squad of Hellguard angels from a demon on the destroyed Earth, after the great flood, though not without grumbling about it. Death's tendency to help others was commented on by Uriel, who observed that he was not as cold as he pretended to be, to which Death responded that he should keep it to himself. He also possesses a dry, sardonic wit and sense of humor, and sees killing as an art rather than a duty as War does.
As the Rider of the Pale Horse, he often appears somewhat morbid and ominous towards those who speak to him. He is starting to feel guilt for some of his past actions, such as the creation of the Holocaust and the destruction of his fellow Nephelim, the giants. It should be noted that, despite his often abrasive nature, he is the only one of the Horsemen to feel remorse over the destruction of the first Nephilim. In addition, he also felt terrible guilt and remorse for purposely allowing War to die as a result of his planning during the "Abomination crisis", The Great Flood, so much so that he could not bring himself to tell War the truth about what had happened after resurrecting him.

History: Like his fellow Horsemen, Death is of a race known as Nephilim – among the most powerful beings in the Universe. When Mankind was given the prize of Eden, Absalom – leader of the Nephilim – led his armies against Heaven and Hell in an attempt to steal it back. For this crime, the Archangel Council condemned the Nephilim to destruction. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse were granted a reprieve from this fate on the condition they aid the Council’s victory over their kin. The Horsemen accepted, but it was Death who bore the greatest burden of guilt for the near extinction of his race.
Death's past is mysterious and by all indications he prefers it that way. What is known is that he is one of the oldest of his kind, the nephilim, one of the Firstborn. He led the other three surviving nephilim, War, Famine, and Pestiliance, away from the rest of their kind, defecting to serve the Archangel Council at some point before the final battle at Eden.

Before they could fully take up their mantles as the Four Horseman, the four surviving nephilim were sent to the Far Fields of Eden and the mysterious being known only as the Horsemaster. The Horsemaster demanded that they discard their weapons as the ancient beasts they sought to tame would bow only to their will.
Anhur proposed a wager as to who would tame their horse first. Limos and Eligos proceeded to needle Anhur about his tendency to boast, but the Horsemaster criticized them for bickering like children. Elrik, silent during the exchange, charged into the stampeding horses without a backward glance. He soon grabbed a hold of one horse and mounted it. The nephilim gained control of it and directed it back to the Horsemaster and his siblings, where he named it Despair as its appearance changed to bone and pale dead flesh to reflect its master.
Now fully fledged Horsemen of the Apocalypse and imbued with great power by the Archangel Council, Death donned his executioner's mask and led the Four Horsemen against the nephilim at Eden alongside the forces of the Angels. As he slaughtered his fellow nephilim, Death gathered their souls in his ring he wore on his left hand. Eventually, he dueled Absalom himself and slew the Leader nephilim personally. Seemingly grieved by this action, Death took Absalom's hand but the leader of the nephilim was dragged down into darkness and, unbeknownst to Death at the time, became Corruption. After that day, the horseman rarely ever removed his mask if at all. The Archangel Council ordered Death to destroy the ring, but he disobeyed them. He gave the ring to Michael to keep safe and had Dust bound to him to link him and Michael, allowing the ancient being to carry the ring. With the other Firstborn gone, Death was also the only being in existence that knew the location of Eden as it had been wiped clean from all minds angelic and demonic, not even the Archangels would know of its existence.

The world was still young and the powers of the Four horsemen were jsut becoming fully mastered. Famine, Limos, grew very pwoerful be with such power she also grew corrupt. Limos plagued the enitre world in Famine her pwoers being a blessing to her and a curse to the world. Her actions led the young race known as mankind to grow weary of God and lose faith in him. Her actions led the Archangel Council to hold a court sentencing her to Hell for two thousand years suffering the same fate that Jesus Christ was to face upon his final days upon the Earth. Of course this was long before the Holy Trinity of God split apart to send Jesus to the Earth.

Erlik could not see his sister Limos face such tortures of Hell as to be whipped by a barbed whip for two thousand years. He stood before the court of the Higher Archangel Council and claimed himself in the wrong feeling the humans should pay miserably for living so long without illness. He told them he had convinced his sister, Limos, to cast her greatest powers over the world.

Erlik took his sisters fate and was cast into Hell. tortured by a barbed whip for two thousand years the race of mankind flourished disobedient to God almighty. It was God who searched for some sign of purity in the word of his newest and most beloved creation. Noah was found. God told him of the coming disaster to hit the earth for Death would be released upon the Earth.
noah began building his Ark and in just in time as upon death's release from punishment, taking the hit for his sister which he lied about jsut to ensure she did not suffer, the world was cast into a constant rain until the waters rose and Death pushed every ounce of his power into the destruction of mankind. Of course, God, saw that Death brought balance and seemed to keep faith in the world. When the wrath of Death was at last over Noah and his family began a world of faith once more.

Limos never forgave herself for allowing Erlik to take on her punishment, just as Erlik would have never been able to live with himself knowing that his sister was suffering for two thousand years.

The two stuck closelsy together and on rare occasions all four riders were together acting upon the world...durign the world wars was their more favourite times together War casting great pwoer through the world and Plagues and disease over taking the innocent as much as Famine and eventually Death overtook each of his siblings victims.

It has always been like that and always shall be. Death doing the messy clean ups behind his siblings putting the tortured souls to rest at last, unless they belonged in eternal torment, of course.

Hurricane Katrina was one of Death's most recent events he has proclaimed as he greatest work of art yet. Besides Pompeii the hurricane was a masterpiece, but the destruction of Pompeii was his Mona Lisa.

Limos stands around average height for a woman with curves in all the right places, though she is not packed hard with muscle. She has a little bit of softness to her rather than rock hard muscular arms, legs, butt, and abs, though she is still in pretty good shape. Her eyes are rather unique and alluring and he hair has a redish tint to it and flows down in loose, wavy curls. He body his covered in tattoos, most of them consisting of colorful designs. There is a unique beauty to her that one cant quite describe in words; nevertheless, she is rather attractive. Even when angered she has this dangerous allure to her, though one would be advice not to move in on her while she is angered.

Limos' eyes are quite interesting. They have an earthy sort of brown bursting front the center but transition into a blue-ish silver color near the outter edge.

»»[Powers]

These are the powers the horsemen have in common:
1) Immortality- Limos will love so long as there is still famine in the world, no matter to what degree.
2) Indestructiblity- Limos, like the other horsemen, is basically indestructible. The only way to truly get rid of her is to eliminate all famine from the world, which is near impossible.
3) Invisible- all of the horsemen are invisible to others unless they decide to take a form and show themselves.
4) Manifestation- the ability to appear in a human, corporeal form.
5) Shapeshifting- while in her human form, Limos can alter her physical appearance at will.
6) Telekinesis - the horsemen can manipulate physical matter through power of will.
7) Teleportation - the horsemen can travel from place to place instantly, without occupying the space in between.

These are abilities specific to Limos:
8) Demonic Exorcism- Limos can forcibly remove a demon from its vessel.
9) Gluttony Augmentation- Limos can enhance the sense of hunger in other beings, causing them to seek whatever it is they crave most until it resulted in their destruction.
10) Insatiable Hunger - As the embodiment of hunger, she constantly craves sustenance. This gives her the ability to devour anything - even the essences of demons and human souls.◘
11) Soul Reading - Limos can determine the state of a soul.
12) Telepathy - Limos is able to enter mortals unconscious and communicate.

»»[Personality]
Limos is perhaps one of the most complex beings in existence. Within her is a constant craving that can never be fed, that both fuels her existence and weighs her down. It would be near impossible to describe someone such as her properly considering there are so many degrees to her personality.

*"When you want everything, it's like you want nothing."*
Limos' desires cause a pull on her in each direction. Every single craving in the world has manifested within Limos, causing her to want everything in a sense. But when you want everything, it's like you want nothing because things cancel out. For instance, Limos craves conflict just as much as she craves peace, the two ultimately canceling one another out to leave her neutral. However there are a few things that are left un canceled out.

*"Are you really describing me to a game that involves a rope and idiotic people pulling at both ends?"*
One of the best ways to explain Limos may be to compare her to a good, evenly matched game of tug-a-war, each craving having its own rope with its mirrored craving on the other end. As one craving pulls header, her desire sways to it but soon the mirrored craving pulls back. Its a constant war within her, but in general she has been brought to a stalemate or tranquility as some may say.

*"I do not get bored easily, everything else just gets boring."*
Limos' attention span can be quite small if something is not exciting or interesting enough for her. Since she has such intense cravings, meeting her desires is a very difficult thing--actually it is impossible to ever meet Famine's cravings, but the closer something gets to meeting her hunger, the longer her attention sticks to it. The only things that truly hold her attention for massive amounts of time are the extremes to each spectrum: archangels, princes of hell, and her fellow horsemen.

*"I like to understand things. Being ignorant is...well stupid."*
One of Limos' hungers that is not restrained by a counter craving is the want for knowledge. She does not want to be ignorant at all, so her desire for knowledge is left un restrained. Nearly every experience someone could have, Limos has had all for the desire to learn what it's like personally. There are still a number of things she has to experience first hand, and this is what keeps her driven to provoking all sorts of situations for her to be involved in. All emotions Limos has felt and embraced in some way or another to grasp a solid understanding of what that emotion is and how it makes people react.

*"It's nearly unbearable at times, the emptiness that cant be filled..."*
There is a sad side to Limos that she tries to keep to herself, not liking for others to see her weakness. Being such a power being, most would think Limos should be happy, but what is there to be happy about? She has constant cravings that can never be filled and it really can drive her crazy sometimes. There have been times Limos has wished to just let the emptiness go. But she knows that if she removes her ring and lets famine run wild on it's own, the world would be driven to destruction. She would not be able to live a happy, mortal life in a burning world. Basically she is doomed to never be free of her curse and gift without allowing her world to be destroyed.

*"Funny. You think you're big and bad? I make you what you are. Without me, you'd be next to nothing."*
Limos is the heart of lust, of greed, of pride, gluttony, envy, wrath and sloth. Without the burning hunger Famine pushes upon the world, no sins would be craved in such a way as they are today. To be frank, Limos is perhaps the most dominate cause of sin committed, despite what others may say--and she knows this. Most blame the Princes of Hell, but without Famine, the Princes' abilities would not have near the lasting effect as they do with Limos' existence. Even one of her fellow horsemen depend on Famine greatly, this being War. If not for the hunger of power and greed, war would be highly decreased.

But just as greatly, Limos is the driving force for peace and happiness. She fuels the want for such things as well, keeping the universe at a constant balance, though it seems the darker desires draw more power, making the tables sway a little towards destruction. Some would say that Famine should be destroyed, but without her everyone would be lost. There would be no inner craving to do good or bad. All would lack desires and a forever lasting monotone existence would wrap around reality until this reality is brought to an end.

*"Don't make me mad. Trust me, you don't want me to crave revenge."*
There is one thing no one should ever do: piss off Limos. A scorned woman is one thing, a scorned Limos is another. Since her cravings can not be quenched, her desire for revenge towards someone may never come to a standstill. She will destroy you slowly to drag out as much pleasure as she can from you. Of course, smaller things may not piss her off enough to deeply crave payback, but anything that triggers her hunger for it might as well have signed their death certificate.

_________________________________

»»[Likes]
* Understanding everything. She likes to know what each emotion feels like, what each situation has to give and take, and what the minds of others works like.
* Watching others become obsessed with their desires. It's quite amusing and interesting to see someone become consumed by their own hunger.
* Spontaneousness. Decisions made without a second thought can lead to the most interesting situations.
* A challenge. She likes seeing if she can manage to get those who are stronger willed than mortals to become obsessed with desires they normally wouldnt be. Like with angels, she likes seeing if she can get them to crave their darker desires and the opposite for demons.
* Erlik and Eligos. Why? Because they are basically the only beings in the world who do not require famine for their main purposes. There will always be death even without famine and diseases can exist without famine as well. But nearly every other being requires some form of famine to manage their powers.

_________________________________

»»[Dislikes]
* The never ending hunger. She can not stand that there is and always will be that hunger the can not fill, the emptiness that can not be fixed.
* She hates being disrespected. Anyone who does not respect just how simply powerful she is is ignorant and not worth their life, she believes.
* Being given orders, especially if she does not want to carry them out.
* Depending on her mode she either hates or loves the Prince of Wrath. There is usually not much middle ground.
__

»»[Main Purpose in Life]:
** Keeping the world driven by giving the inner desires of others a push. She believes her purpose in life is take those little fires of desire everyone has are turned into blazes that drive them to chase after their wants with an almost crazed intensity until they get it.

__

»»[Greatest Fear(s)]:
** She fears that one day she will no longer be able to withstand the emptiness that can not be filled within her and will search for a way to destroy it, even if it means destroying herself and the world with her.

__

»»[Common Knowledge]
** Famine is the driving force for all of the seven sins as well as for hope and peace.
** Famine fuels the "Red Queem Hypothesis" of good and evil. As evil strives for power the desire of the good to beat the evil becomes stronger and thus they work harder as well, and vise versa. Good and evil are constantly running, trying to get ahead but the two are always neck and neck, never truly getting ahead.
** It is not wise to make her mad.
__

»»[ Flaws ]
** Limos can have quite the temper at times. When she wants revenge, she wants it bad, being driven by her craving for it.
** Her own desires come before others, usually. She is rather selfish thanks to this.
** Limos' obsession with needing to know how everything feels can drive her into bad situations.
** She loves spontaneous decisions, thus she can be quite headstrong.
** Limos is hard to understand the persoanlity of if you do not know her well.
__

»»[ Virtues ]:
** She believes that everyone should get what they desire, whether it be a good or bad desire. If someone wants it, they should do whatever it takes to feel their craving.
** She believes that understanding a situation before judging it or someone is wrong. You cant judge thing if you have not been in that exact position.

_________________________________

»»[History]
Limos was born to a rather poor mortal mother, but her mother raised her all the same without Limos' angelic father. Usually her mother and three half siblings did not have much if anything to eat and they would barely scrape by. But one day when Limos was still a rather young girl, the age of fourteen she crossed paths with a devilishly handsome man who told her he could help her family to get by if she married him. This being was known as the Prince of Wrath, commonly known as Satan. In that age and time fourteen was plenty old enough to marry when it came to a woman, and if it helped her family to not starve to death then Limos was willing to do anything. She accepted his offer, not realizing she was to be dragged to Hell and forced to live there.

Limos had always been told she was a special little girl, that her father was a man of abilities that passed onto her. But she had never been able to control any of these abilities. Being forced to live in Hell at Wrath's side was perhaps the best and worst thing for the young girl. Lilith saw potential in the girl and decided to help finish bringing her up, helping Limos learn how to control her nephilim abilities. Though it wasnt just her that taught Limos when it came to powers and other various things. A few of the Princes of Hell beyond Wrath had noticed her oddly strong potential and leaned some of their time to her. One primary teacher had been Amsedous who was the one who managed to teach her how to push others towards their desires. He was perhaps the main reason Limos harnessed her slightly different temptational grip power while she was a nephilim.

Unlike most with the ability to tempt, Limos had the ability to push and drive others to go after what the craved for most even to the point of near insanity. She harnessed this power well over the years she spent in Hell. But soon her own power had began to itch at her--a draw back to such a talented gift. The more she drove others to their desires the more her cravings began to grow as well, ironically including the want to make others' cravings increase until they were driven made as well. So emptiness within her began to sprout. At first, she was able to feel her little hungers here and there, but things grew too much at some point.

One particular craving that grew was her desire to escape Hell and get a taste of what life could have been like had she not married Wrath and spent so many years within Hell. One day she finally couldnt take it and left to find out for herself what all the world had to offer. This is where her desire to gain knowledge and understatement started as well, though it had always been there in a way. Of course, her husband was not fond of his proclaimed wife leaving his side. For years to follow, Wrath would attempt for force Limos back into Hell with him. Sometimes he would succeed, but this only fueled her desire to get back out of Hell and started her hatred for Wrath. Prior to this, Limos had truly loved the Prince regardless of what others may believe. She had been tempted into the marriage, yes, but somewhere along the lines she fell in love with him and she assumed he did with her as well. So even though she hated him for trying to restrain her, Limos could never prevent herself from loving him. It was an all or nothing thing that increased over time.

So her life went on for awhile with Limos just finding out what it was like to actually live. However, things began to change. The Nephilim were forming an army and the Archangel Council was ordering death to all of their kind...which would have included her. But Limos had caught the eye of a few as a potentially powerful being who could aid in the death of her kind, just as three others. They were offered the exemption from the fate of their kind if they aided in the destruction of the Nephilim. The group of four agreed to the proposal. To gain their full powers, the four had to claim their horses, Erlik mounting his first and followed by Anthur. It seemed things had come to Limos turn, Elgios seeming in no rush to pick from the two remaining ones. Limos became the one to be known as the Black horsemen or Famine as many would soon refer to her and her faithful steed being known as Fury.

The new power granted to Limos was so amazing yet so disgusting at the same time. She loved and hated what it caused within her own mind. At first it was nearly too overpowering for her, but her want to not give in was stronger than anything else. So she rode off to assist in the death of all of her kind other than the four horsemen. She regretted what she did, and she always will, but on another level she understands why it had to be done and does not consider her actions a mistake. After the deed had been done, it was Death that seemed to carry the most burden out of all four, and it was he that Limos seemed to feel the worst for rather than her fallen kin.

When Limos and the other three had been demanded to return their rings of power, Limos had extreme difficulty making up her mind. Half of her was in agony from the black hole that seemed to form with her, always demanding substance of some sort, while the other half of her was dying to keep the extreme power she now possessed. In the end, the power hungry side lf her proved dominate. She kept her ring, refusing to give back the power she had been granted. Limos soon held power of the entire world it seemed, being able to push everyone's cravings whether it be for good, bad, for a physical object or for a mental sort of thing. Everyone was soon infested with the desire to fulfill their cravings, some worse than others.

Over the rest of her life leading up to now many things have happened that are worth mentioning. But there is too much to speak of. She his endured nearly everything possible the universe has to offer, usually intentionally putting herself into a situation just to gain the understanding of what it's like. This was what Limos began to set her focus on, understanding the mind works when it comes to any and all cravings. She has made it a personal goal of hers to understand everything it is she drives others to want. This has gotten her into so tight spots, but she has always managed to make it out--even if a few times she required assistance.

One particular incident happened very long ago. The power she wielded finally managed to go to go to her head. Limos did not like having the restrictions over her head, so she ignored them, letting famine infect the world worse than imaginable. The people of God began to loss faith in him, began to fall from their faiths and it was due to Limos. "Her actions led the Archangel Council to hold a court sentencing her to Hell for two thousand years suffering the same fate that Jesus Christ was to face upon his final days upon the Earth. Of course, this was long before the Holy Trinity of God split apart to send Jesus to the Earth."

However, "Erlik could not see his sister the tortures of being whipped by a barbed whip for two thousand years in Hell. He stood before the court of the Higher Archangel Council and claimed himself in the wrong, feeling the humans should pay miserably for living so long without illness. He told them he had convinced his Limos to cast her greatest powers over the world, whether than her doing it on her own choice."

Erlik took his sister's fate and was cast into Hell, beaten with a barbed whip for two thousand years nonstop while the race of mankind began to flourish disobedience towards God almighty. It was God who searched for some sign of purity in the word of his newest and most beloved creation. Noah was found. God told him of the coming disaster to hit the earth for Death would be released."

After his release, Erlik and Limos stuck closelsy together. Limos would never forgive herself for letting Erlik take the fall for her, just as she would never be able to look at him as she once had. When he took such a hit for her, Limos' way of looking at Erlik became...well even more caring than she had cared for her that fellow horsemen before then. Upon rare occasions all four riders gather and let their acts work together upon the world. Their more favourite times together were during the world wars, War casting great pwoer through the world while plagues, disease, and famine over took the innocent and guilty. Then finally, Death overtook each of his siblings' victims.
