I LOVED it. The end not as much as the rest, but I still loved it.

Lisa Vegan (lisavegan) I'm reading Monsieur Ibrahim and the Flowers of the Koran & Oscar and the Lady in Pink. It's a book with 2 short novellas. I've read the first and loved it and will hopefully read the second this weekend. I got the book for the second novella but I'm so glad that I read the first as well.

message 255: by Jessika (new)

Jessika Hoover (jessalittlebooknerd) I'm reading Christmas on Jane Street: A True Story. I know it's a little late (or early) to be reading a Christmas book, but I like it so far.

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) | 529 comments Cocaine Blues, a historical mystery with a flapper heroine, set in 1920s Australia. Light as a bottle of champagne. Lots of fun so far.

My goodness, I haven't been able to read in a week! I finally started Anna Karenina last night and haven't gotten very far yet but it's long been a goal to read some Leo Tolstoy. I can't believe I haven't done it before now....

Right now I'm reading two : The Sun in the Morning by M.M. Kaye, and "the scandalous lady robin " by Sylvia Thorpe. Both are awesome in their own way :)

message 270: by Dorcas (new)

Dorcas (onemorepageplease) Lee, you know what? I actually loved the love story between Levi and Kitty (was that their names?) even more than Anna and her men. But that's what I love about Tolstoy, there's more than one focus going on so the story is so much richer. Enjoy!

Hi everyone. I am having endless problems with my internet and hope to have that working better in a couple of weeks. Tonight was certainly a surprise and fluke. I just haven't been able to get onto certain sites. I have really missed getting on Goodreads, but have reading like crazy and will have many books to review. I have missed all of your discussions and can't wait to get back.
