October: Month of Mayhem Challenge

Did you know October is National Comic Book/Graphic Novel month? Well it is! And here is a challenge dedicated to this art form. A lot of people may not feel the need to be involved in this, and that is okay! But here we like to challenge ourselves and break out of the boundaries of our minds! Why not try out a Graphic Novel or Comic Book?

The challenge for October: Month of Mayhem-

Antihero
Iconic
War/Trauma/Memory
Gender/Historical
Horror
Sci-Fi
Adventure
Fantasy
Adventure
Sexuality

Pick AT LEAST five types/genre of comic books/graphic novels from the list above. There must be at least five different genres/types in order to complete this Challenge, but of course do more if you can.

Please name the Comic/Graphic Novel and the type/genre when posting.

Also, share a little about the comic, what you thought and what you wanted more/less of.

If you are interested in learning more about comics in general, please feel free to message me. I am actually deeply involved with this genre and in a class as of now. Also take a look at Scott McCloud's Understanding Comics: The Invisible Art, it will deeply help.
