He rolled his eyes, "He's not old. And fine." Avery said shortly, shrugging his shoulders.

Chris rolled his eyes, pushing to see how far he could go "y'all fuck yet?" He was all but falling from laughter

He raised an eyebrow at the immaturity. "Of course we have."

Chris was still slightly chucking, his cheeks having turned bright red. "Well I'm happy for you two." He finally said, still laughing.

He rolled his eyes, "Mhm sure." Avery said with a sigh taking another sip from his water.

Chris rambled on absently about the town, as thigh he was in a new world. His eyes shined as he spoke of the way he loved the town. It was the same love he'd shown Averu

Avery smiled as he watched the boy talk- finishing up his own food and leaning back into the chair.

"But it's weird, everything seems so familiar." Chris said when he waitress gave them the bill. He began to pull out his wallet

"Strange." Avery said, noticing as he was about to pull out his wallet. He leaned over the table slightly placing his hand above Chris' "don't worry about it i'll pay." He told him pulling out his credit card and handing it to the waitress.

"No I said its my treat. Come on please." Chris argued, looking at Avery's hand on his, his pulse slightly racing

"Fine." He said, thinking of how little he'd changed as he slipped his card back into his wallet.

Chris handed her two twenties and a ten. "Keep the change," he said. She hurried off smiling

[Morgan]

"Next time it's on me though." Avery told him with a teasing smile as he watched the waitress leave.

"Next time?" Chris questioned with a smirk

[Morgan]

He laughed softly, "Of course, here." Avery said,,writing down his number on a napkin and handing it to Chris, before standing up. "Oh yeah, do you need a ride back anywhere?" He asked, almost having forgotten he drove the boy here as he grabbed Takari's leash.

"Nha I'm good. I'm walking around a bit." He said getting up and extending his hand for a handshake

"Okay, have fun. I guess i'll see you around." Avery said with a dismissive wave as he walked back to his truck.

The dog stayed at Chris's side. "Avery. You're forgetting someone." He laughed

[Morgan]

He sighed heavily, walking back to get the dog. "I would've noticed once i reached the truck. And i'm sure you wouldn't have stolen her, unless that's been your ulterior motive all along."

"Yeah totally. I take a hot stranger out for lunch just to steal a dog." Chris rolled his eyes, not realizing the word 'hot' hand came out of his mouth.

Avery smirked as he caught onto the word. "Well you never know with people these days." Avery told him with a small smile.

Chris rolled his eyes and bent down to get the dog to go with his owner. He looked up at Avery, on his knees and said "this is one stubborn ass dog,"

[Morgan]

"Not really." Avery said, tugging on her leash a bit, getting her to move only two feet.

"Mhm," he laughed and took a few steps back

[Morgan]

"Well see ya." Avery said, walking back to his truck Takari following him at his heels.

Chris clutched the mans number, slowly beginning to jog in the opposite direction. It was very warm so about half a mile later her began sweating

He made it back home, noticing Mark wasn't back yet as he went upstairs.

Chris had gotten of his apartment where Zac waited anxiously. He told him he'd just been out for a running, failing to mention Avery.

[Morgan]

He grabbed his laptop from the bed before heading back downstairs to do some work. After a few hours passed Mark finally arrived home. He smiled brightly, talking about nothing in particular as he took a seat next to Avery.

The next morning Chris was jogging around the same park. Hoping to run into Avery

[Morgan]

Avery slept in, looking around for Mark and Takari but soon realizing they were gone. He sighed heavily before walking downstairs to make breakfast.

Chris saw the dog though another man had her. She of course recognized him and ran to him

[Morgan]

Mark was surprised at the tug of the leash, jogging to keep up with Takari as he came to a stop in front of the other guy. He smiled brightly, laughing at Takari. "You two must know each other."

"Yeah she wouldn't let me leave the other day and kept getting away from Avery." He boy smiled slightly, cramming his neck away from the dogs licking

[Morgan]

Mark smiled at the mention of Avery, laughing softly. "What's your name?" He asked curiously.

"Chris, and you much be Mark." Chris extended his hand to the man

[Morgan]

His smile faded a bit as he heard the name, but was glad Avery had mentioned him. "Yup the boyfriend." Mark said trying not to feel jealous, there was no reason too- besides the boys memory wasn't the best anyays. He shook his hand.

Chris looked back down at Takari, smiling. "He wouldn't stop taking about you." Chris exaggerated.

[Morgan]

"Oh i'm sure he did." Mark said, a hint of sarcasm in his voice, not knowing whether to take Chris seriously.

Chris got up and said "very nice to meet you," formally to the man and pet the dog

"Same." He said, pulling slightly on Takari's leash as his phone rang. Mark sighed heavily, turning away as he answered, noticing it was Avery.

Chris waited for a moment, still feeling a vague sense of déjà vu.

[Morgan]

He hung up after Avery promised to pick him up, since he'd walked her. But Mark didn't mention Chris. "So bye." He said, trying his best not to strain the words, whistling softly to Takari as she led the way down the rest of the path.

Chris jogged ahead of them, the dog trying to run to catch up but Chris was far too fast

Mark watched him pass with a sigh, great my dogs in love with him too.

Avery pulled into the parking lot a few minutes later as he waited for Mark.

Chris srinted past the truck, not noticing it was Avery, and got to his own car. Taking deep breaths he pulled out a bottle of Gatorade

Avery cursed softly as Chris ran past him, not realizing it was him until he completely parked the truck. He smiled slightly before getting out, "Hey." He said with a small smile.

Chris was breathing hard so could only offer a weak smile and a small wave

[Morgan]

Avery walked over towards him leaning against Chris' car. "So is this a normal routine of yours?" He asked, raising an eyebrow as he waited for the boy to catch his breath.
