Lacy Stewart - post 2002Task 50.1 requires that you specifically state in your post that none of your books are re-reads. Please repost this task with the required information.
No need to repost the other task in this post. The points for that one have been recorded.
Leslie W - post 2031Task 10.8 requires that you briefly explain how your book fits the task.
Task 20.7 - I need to know whether you're doing a task from Spring or Summer and which task it is.
Please repost these tasks with the required information. No need to repost any of the other tasks in this post. The points for those have been recorded.
Tallulah A - post 2032A Very Scandalous Holiday appears to be an ebook without a print edition.
If it has not yet been approved for length, you should ask for approval by posting in the ebook page verification thread: eBook verification thread.
When you claim a book in Completed Tasks that exists ONLY in ebook format, you must provide a reference to the ebook verification document when you post ex."Approved @ line #" or provide the post number in the ebook verification thread where it was approved ex. "Approved post #"
Please repost this task with the required information.

I thought I was doing so well for my first challenge at remembering to read all the required items. I am sorry about that. I have reposted it with the required information in post #2089. I hope I did the repost correctly :)
Alison wrote: "I thought I was doing so well for my first challenge at remembering to read all the required items."You ARE doing really well for your first time out! We all slip up eventually... ;-)
Jayme VA - post 2060Task 20.7 - Alexandra's task in the Spring Challenge was task 20.6, not 20.9. The link you've included in your completed task post goes to your Spring task 20.9. It needs to point to task 20.6.
Ashley FL - post 2064Task 20.6 requires that you state in your post that the author is new to you. Please repost this task with the required information.
Task 20.7 - You completed task 20.3 in the Summer challenge. Since that task had no other options, you cannot complete it again. The task requires you to pick a 20 point task with multiple options and do an option you hadn't chosen before.
Mickslibrarian - post 2070Task 30.7 requires that you indicate in your post which author(s) are new to you. Please repost this task with the required information.
Leslie W - post 2073Task 20.7 - In order to verify that the book you've chosen fits the task, I need to know if you are using a 20 point task from the Spring Challenge or the Summer Challenge. I also need to know which of the 20 point tasks in that season includes an option to read a time travel book.
Mai - post 2084Task 30.7 requires that you indicate in your post which author(s) are new to you. Please repost this task with the required information.

Blergh. Sorry. I forgot I even took part in the Summer Challenge!! I am getting old :-) Hopefully my records are good; I've reposted.

I knew with all the stuff that was required in that post that I would screw something up. I reposted! I think maybe that I am done now. Fingers crossed.
Lacy wrote: "Reposted!"To verify your books, I need links to the books. You'll need to repost 50.1 again with the required information and links to the books.

Oh my gosh! I'm going to go fix it right now!
Oma1229 - post 2137Task 25.3 - The Chocolate War has less than 300 pages and the genre "childrens" listed on its main page. It may not be used for a 25 point task unless specifically allowed in the task description.
JACKIE NC - post 2148Task 50.1 requires that you specifically state in your post that none of your books are re-reads. Please repost this task with the required information.
Hi Dlmrose,I'm pretty sure I've claimed 3 (plus 1 pending recent post) Big Book Tickets for the following books...
Task 30.4: Wild Man by Kristen Ashley (528 pgs)
Task 25.10: Spy Mom by Beth McMullen (608 pgs)
Task 25.9: Games of Command by Linnea Sinclair (525 pgs)
Please let me know if I've made a mistake. Thanks for checking on this.

I have checked the main page for The Chocolate War and I did not see"children's" listed. The listings were:
Young Adult
Classics
Realistic Fiction
Young Adult>teen
Literature>Banned Books
Academic>School
Young Adult>Coming of Age
I think that this book should fulfill the requirement as it was #75 on the Realistic Fiction Page that was part of the task
Please Advise.
Thanks

You are correct. The "childrens" label that was on there last night at number 9 has fallen off (mainly because GRs has decided to show only 7 genres for that books today *shrug*). Now that it's noted as not being there, please repost this task (with a note saying the "childrens" genre has fallen off the page) so I can pick up the points.
For future reference, though, just because a book shows up on a list required by a task doesn't mean that every book on that list fits. All the normal SRC rules still apply. So you have to be kind of picky.

Thanks, I will repost. I did check its main page when I posted and childrens was not there--I guess GRs just wants to put some excitement in our lives! Thanks again.
Wanda wrote: "I guess GRs just wants to put some excitement in our lives! "LOL. I guess that's it. ;-)
SpantalianJoanne - post 2190Task 30.7 requires that you indicate in your post which author(s) are new to you. Please repost this task with the required information.
Stacy CT - post 2199Task 20.6 requires that you state in your post that the author is new to you. Please repost this task with the required information.
No need to repost the other tasks in this post. They have been recorded.
Dana - post 2209Task 15.1 - Captain Underpants and the Revolting Revenge of the Radioactive Robo-Boxers is intended for children aged 6-9. It is therefore considered a transitional book and, per Challenge Rules, not allowed for SRC tasks. For more information on using children's books in the SRC, please see rules 4-5 in the Challenge Rules.
AprilDT - post 2218Task 50.1 requires that you specifically state in your post that none of your books are re-reads. Please repost this task with the required information.
mstan - post 2221Task 20.7 - Since you completed task 20.4: Author! Author! - Ann A's task: Initial Fun in the Summer challenge, task 20.7 of the Fall challenge requires that you state which option of the same task you claimed points for in the previous challenge and include a link to that post for verification purposes.
You also must also include all of the requirements set out by the original 20 point task. Summer task 20.4 requires that you confirm that the author is/are new to you.
Please repost this task with both of these required elements.
Dlmrose wrote: "Michelle WI post 2215task 50.1 Nora Roberts is not a Goodreads author"
Yep, I meant to put Alex Kava, not Nora Roberts. No big deal... I can live without it. Sorry!
Question about the 50 point task - I want to use a book that was recently published as the first in the series, but it does not say it is part of a series on Goodreads. However, I know for a fact it is the first in a trilogy (got that direct from the author) and it clearly states on the cover that it is book on. Can I use this? Thanks.
Mickslibrarian wrote: "Question about the 50 point task - I want to use a book that was recently published as the first in the series, but it does not say it is part of a series on Goodreads. However, I know for a fact ..."To use it for the task it must say (series name, #1) on the book's main page. Dee is correct, a librarian can verify and add this information if you give them them details in the anyone with librarian status.... thread.

Whoops - added this to the wrong thread! So sorry! I thought my post had disappeared into the Goodreads Twilight Zone. At least I can now do some copy and paste...ETA - deleting all the "completed task" info so it doesn't clutter up the thread...
Dlmrose wrote: "Stacie MI post 2256Jeff Lemire is not a Goodreads author"
Noted. I knew I'd end up on here eventually! But at least I made to the last week of the challenge error free!!!
AprilDT - post 2273Task 15.5 requires that ALL of the words in the title begin with the letters found in AUTUMN and/or FALL. The words in The Map of Time begin with T, M, O, T. There is no O in AUTUMN or FALL.
SARAH THE LIBRARIAN - post 2321Task 20.6 does not allow for books under 300 pages with the genre "childrens" on its main page. Wake Up Missing will not work for this task.
hpaddict - post 2322Task 20.7 requires that you include a link to the post in the previous challenge where you claimed the task you chose the first time around. Please repost this task with the required information.

I think I confused you because I reported The Bourne Supremacy by Robert Ludlum for task #30.3 but I had to move it to #20.4 because my second book didn't qualify for task for a 30 point task.
Sorry!
