Task 30.1, option 1 requires "get[ting] to know an acquaintance better. Read a book by an author you've discovered and read at least one book by since January 2013." The author shouldn't be new-to-you.

Task 25.1 -- The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon has the genre Childrens on its main page and is <300 pages long.

Books with the genre "childrens" or "kids" that are between 100 and 299 pages may only be used for 5, 10, and 15 point tasks. Books with the genre “childrens” or "kids" on their main page may ONLY be used for tasks above 15 points IF they are at least 300 pages long or the task description specifically notes their inclusion.

Please repost this task with the required information.

Jecca | 734 comments I have a question...when I choose the book Beautiful Bastard for task 30.1 option 4, I am almost positive humor was on the main page but then it wasn't when I posted. Now, I just looked it up again because I was going to see if the next book had humor on the main page and Beautiful Bastard has humor on the main page again. Can I use it now? Or because it didn't do I need to find a new one?

thanks!

Task 30.5 requires both books to be 300+ pages. The Bridges of Madison County contains less than 300 pages."

Dag Nabbit! I'll seek another book. Sorry.

I swear, GRs and their changes are going to drive me to drink! I see humor there tonight, Jecca. It's on record. I'll add your points in the morning and they'll show up in the next update.

If anyone else has a genre book that you're planning to read, please seek preapproval. I don't know what's going on with shelves........

Kristi, you are right, my Excel is messing with my head. Last night it kept telling me my total was 280 and I kept adding on my fingers and toes (no, I only have the regulation number) and saying, 275, but the computer insisted--and computers are NEVER wrong.
Today, I opened my spreadsheet and it said 275 Bwahahahah!
