I WON AN ARC OF UNHINGED!!!! *twirling until nausea sets in* I am still going to buy an ebook copy because I want to get medieval on the hinnies of all those people on Amazon who give bad reviews because they don't like YA. If they don't like the YA genre, why do they read it in the first place? *sigh*

The Wonderland flashback when Alyssa was 5 years old is unbelievable!!!! I didn't want that part to end. Alyssa's childhood experiences in Wonderland need to be a children's book, or middle grade book!! Oh please!!!! It was outrageous!!

Wasn't sure where to put this but I wanted some clarification. I heard somewhere that the Unhinged release date had been moved and that it was now available. Since I was waiting on the edge of my seat for January 7, I was wondering if I've been missing precious Unhinged fangirling time.

@Violet, I think the launch date is still the 7th. Which means that's when it will hit local stores. But a lot of people seem to be getting their preorders early. That's where the confusion is. ;) @Bri Bri and @Dahanci, I'll tell Morpheus you're both willing to be Al's substitute. But you're going to have to work out visitation rights amongst yourselves.
aaah I see thanks. My bookstores never have it the day of release so I'm thinking of preordering. Or doing what I did with Splintered and getting an e-book then getting the print once I find it
I finally reviewed Splintered here on Goodreads, and on my blog, in preparation for reviewing Unhinged tomorrow. How was that for professional quality procrastination?!!

My review is both on here and on my book blog. Unhinged made me want to read both Splintered and Moth in the Mirror over again. I think I will wait until this summer when I can sit in the Alice in Wonderland section of the Storybook Garden at out local hands on children's museum. :)
Oh, and be prepared for the cliffhanger of all cliffhangers. :D

Also, about the YA staple thing, I can't completely blame my publisher. LOL. I'm a makeup and wardrobe junkie, so a lot of the fashion stuff is my own doing, weaving my long abandoned desire to be a fashion designer into my books. ;)
Oh, and I have some books I've written that if I ever get them published I think you'll really love them. One is a complete fantasy, set in an alternate world. A prince, a princess, and all sorts of fantastical creatures in between, with of course a gothic slant to a familiar fairytale. Another is an adult vampire series set in an alternate Victorian England, with really evil vampires, not the sparkly kind, and a sect of female Halfling vampires who fight them. I hope I can sell them one day so you can read them. :)

I am sure after your success with the Splintered trilogy, and the new Phantom idea you are working on, there will be no doubt I will be reading those two other stories you have written!
