ARC cover pic (again), tried importing updated version

Sorry for what seems a common issue. Cover here on GR is from the ARC file, of which exactly 4 were printed, we have all 4.

GR says the book was updated in June, but apparently didn't pick up the new cover (which was changed in April)

I attempted to import (from Amazon)the most recent version and make it default, which seems to be what to do. GR says it takes time, but no estimation of how much time. Hours? Days? Weeks?

Sure would like to get the right cover up so we can appropriately promote the book here.

There is currently no way to do this. The import function adds books to a user's shelves. It does not add them to the database.

To add a new edition, it must be manually added to the database. I added yours: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/18...

As the author, you have the ability to change which edition of the book is the default, which will come up in searches by title and show on your author profile. Here's how: http://www.goodreads.com/help/show/31...

Sally, I've reversed your swapping of the ISBNs to the new alternate cover edition. The ISBNs stay on the original edition and we let the comment in the description field and librarian notes on the NEW edition point back to the older book.

Don't forget to use the link Rivka provided to make the new book into the default.
