Multiple parts of the translated edition of one book

How should you treat a book as regards the combining editions when the original is one book but the translation comes in multiple parts... you can't really combine them with the original book, because then it wouldn't allow you to mark both parts as read

Example:Stone of Farewell by Tad Williams (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/28...)
has 2 parts in the Czech translation
1) Kámen Rozluky 1 (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/66...)
2) Kámen Rozluky 2 (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/67...)

So far, all examples of this issue I've encountered on Goodreads were such a mess. Either the translated editions are not even added on Goodreads, or there is just one part which is combined with the original, or some sort of other mess...
So I think it would be nice to come up with a solution and to apply it on the other books as well

If a book is split up into multiple parts, each of the parts does not equal the whole and is thus not combined with the whole.
Different parts should not be combined with each other either (i.e. part 1 with part 2).
Identical parts can be combined (i.e. part 1 with part 1, part 2 with part 2,...).
