Possession - Through Chapter 18

Remember how I got sucked into the book and was excited about it in chapter 9? Well, chapter 10 changed that for me. That was when we read through a huge collection of letters between Ash and LaMotte that I found somewhat slow, and a little unnecessary.

I am still enjoying the book but find that when the little italic print of a letter or epic poem shows up, I begin to skim until I get back to the story of Roland and Maud.

Also, it's about time that Leonora showed up! I get the feeling we have been set up for a romance between Roland and her, but from my initial impressions of Leonora, I think I would rather see the story develop more between Maud and Roland. (hide spoiler)]

It has been too long since I read this to remember just where it happened but I do remember having a point in the middle where I started to get really sick of this book.
