Hi everyone! My name is Daisy Holtel, I recently wrote a (very) short alternative horror story. I was considering submitting it for publication, but I would love to have a few reviews on it first. The Colony Elaine is a girl in her late teens trying to escape and ultimately undergo punishment for false charges of blasphemy in The Colony. The Colony is where she was raised and is run by a religious cult referred to as The Elders. They live inside the confines of a stone barrier and are told if they leave they will contract a vicious plague for their follies against God and The Elders.
This story is about 7,500 words.
