How to come up with new interview questions?

Hey Everyone,

I am new to author interviews and usually get authors whose books I have not read and I do not want to ask the same questions over and again?

What advice would you give me to come up with new questions to ask for an author interview.

I am open to any suggestions and I appreciate your help

I ask the most random questions I could think of based on the synopsis of one of the bookd or something you may want to know or something you think other people will want to know.
