It is now 2;10 and I am at the library. Never did get to look for shoes since my husband is working at home today and we had lunch together. I am about to leave and go for my pedicure and then home to watch the US Open Men's Final.

A Marching Band - I'm on colorguard. I twirl a flag over my head. My husband plays the trumpet. We're in a parade this weekend.

It's 6:17 now but I woke at 5. I need to leave here early for a trip to the James Michener and Pearl S Buck Museums and then lunch in Doylestwown, PA. We have a docent and I am really excited to make this trip since I have read many books by both of these authors.

OMG - coming home it took us forever. We stopped to have lunch with our son-in-laws parents in Rhode Island right off the highway and that set us back so badly. Oh well, I sometimes think flying is easier but then I forget the hassle at the airport.

I didn't grow up with parents that drove or owned a car so I loved road trips when I as first married but now they aren't nearly as much fun. My husband, a once excellent driver now is very hesitant and seems annoyed by many drivers so it makes me nervous to be with him on long drives.

It was a long trip to DC. Some family squabbling over money already, which disgusts me. Good to see some people that I haven't seen in many years and we did enjoy our stay in DC and the weather was lovely. Now I can continue with mourning without racing all over the place.
