question
What does Nate see in Maura?

I get what Maura sees in Nate, but I'm not seeing what's so compelling about Maura? I know she's beautiful and comes from money, but what else?

I guess it is because they have known each other their whole lives and she accepts him as he is where all the others treat him like a townie. I really enjoyed this book.
I don't know what he sees in her, either. Frankly, I don't know what she sees in him. A guy who brings home random girls from a bar every week is hardly attractive or worthy of any woman's interest. They were both amoral young adults sorely lacking in character.
