Yes but is it 50 best books ever or is it 50 best books of 2013?

It's not that long Ben...enjoy if you get to it:)

I was the same Phrynne, got in touch with Get Reading, they told me to refresh my browser and it worked...perhaps try that, as it was 41 - 100 when I linked it:)
Phrynne wrote: "Totally refreshed and still showing 61-100. Never mind. I'll try again much later."
That's totally weird as when I click on my above link it shows me 41-100!

you might need to do a "CTRL-F5" refresh; which will do a non-cached refresh
Well I just turned off my computer, turned it on again and tried the link and it STILL says 61-100. Someone else try it please. Maybe my computer is in some kind of time warp.

definitely a caching issue
Tried all those things and still no luck. Didn't want to see any more of the silly list anyway.(spits dummy)

Phrynne it looks like you tried everything but maybe after you've clicked on the link above, click on "Books" in top left hand corner then refresh. That's what I did. It wasn't enough just to refresh the page. Not sure if it will work for you...perhaps it is your computer. :(
Thank you Elaine! That did indeed do the trick. Aren't computers wonderful.
After all that I have read most of the books already!!!
And if I don't go and get some real work done now I am big trouble - thanks for all your help everyone!

Glad it worked for you Phrynne. Yes a shame work has to get in the way. I'm just about to head off to start an afternoon shift. I'm just glad I like my job!!! Enjoy the rest of your day.

Thanks Brenda. I'm home now. I noticed tonight,at work, we've got a few books with the Top 50 stickers on them, so I'm assuming they're the finalists. One which I think I'd like to read for this challenge is The Young Lion

#21 - #80 -- #11 - #20 tomorrow!

Yes it did thank you.
I have read a lot of those books too. Even Wombat Stew which is very popular at our preschool.

Good! Yes there is a huge variety of ages of the books there too, nowhere near just new releases! I can't wait to see the final list on Sunday!

I know what you mean Phrynne...until last year (National Year of Reading) I had no idea who were Aussie and who were not...didn't even check, just read! Our awareness has been given a huge boost, and that's great, especially for the Aussie authors:)

I'm guessing The Book Thief & Jasper Jones will be on the list tomorrow.
I would say you'd have to be right Mish...I can't wait to see the list! I'd like to read Burial Rites but as I'm still #34 in the queue at my library, I doubt it'll be here in time. It was going to be my August read, but no hope for that!!!

Wow #34. Popular book & that's been out for a while now. True I doubt you will get it in August.
Out of curiosity, I checked my library and there’s 5 books circulating and they are all out on 4 on loan and 1 reserved

I reserved it ages ago...I was in the 50s in the queue when I first did it!

They really need to get more books in. That's a very long wait. I actually don't think you will get it this year!!
WOOHOO!!! The list is finally out!

Some very interesting stuff there but I will stick with Burial Rites as I have been meaning to read it for ages.
