When is this last sprint, am I late to join in? If so, I would love to have a go at a sprint soon! :)
Ok, so this sprint got lost on me. I'm feeding the neighbor's cat while he's on vacation and the cat decided this was the perfect time to ask for food. :D
Cool, Adriana! Did you like the book? :) Amanda, sure! I am reading The Winner's Curse!
How about :55 for 15 minutes? Or however long you want. :)
I'm reading A Million Suns (the second book in the Across the Universe series) I just have to wash my face and braid my hair. So probably more like :05 if that works for you. How is Winner's Curse so far? I have a copy of it.
Ok, sure, :05 is good for me. makes time to make an ice cream shake. :D I liked the Across the Universe trilogy! TBH, my least favorite of them was A Million Suns, I liked the other 2 better, but it was still good and I really liked the trilogy as a whole!
So far I have only read about 50 pages of The Winner's Curse, but the world is definitely interesting!
I loved the first one. My boyfriend suggested it to me and I finally read it. He said the same thing, but I still have to read it! I'm here whenever you're ready. :)
wow, this is the best ice cream shake I've ever had. Strawberry ice cream, a banana and a cup of coffee added in. Yummmm :D
I read 13 pages. I'm starting to think that I read slow compared to others. Though I could read much faster, I can't bring myself to, in this book I'm imagining it being read in a British accent, slowly with a lot of feeling to it :D I used to listen to audio books a lot and those are very very slow reading, so that might be why I do that.
I read at different paces depending on what I'm doing or what I'm reading. But I've always been told that I'm a fast reader. I started The Selection today and finished it this afternoon, it's like 300 some pages. I don't know anyone in real life that reads like that. But some people on this website are a lot faster than I am.
Yeah, that's true, depends on the book and stuff :D There are books that I have read within hours and some I like to read slowly and really sink deeply in the writing, savoring it. This one seems like it will be a slower read, just because each paragraph contains so much information, I want to capture it all :D
It took me a long time to read
. It's a historical fiction book. It also depends on how interested I am in what I'm reading, if there is anything to distract me...
That's why I like sprints, because I just focus on the book. So, do you want to go again?
Sure! How about :00 for 20 minutes? Or less, or more, you can choose how long. I don't mind at all :D
