Minimoule | 43 comments He rules, he is like one of my fav characters it is an outrage that he won't be in it!!!!

message 52: by Maia (new)

Maia | 46 comments Yes he should come on. He is important and awesome. I now just found out that. *flips table*

Neha (neha71580) Lol :P

message 54: by Mattie (new)

Mattie | 4 comments YES! Uriah was my FAVORITE character from the WHOLE series and I was so upset when I found out that he wasn't going to be in the movie. I mean sure he isn't in as much but think of it... If there was no Uriah (in the book) there would be no zip line! Meaning no zeke. They SHOULD HAVE PUT URIAH IN THE MOVIE. you NEVER take any characters out of the movie because u are basically changing the whole entire thing Hollywood is stupid.

message 55: by cindy ♡ (new)

cindy ♡ Of course! But the casting people couldn't find someone good enough since Uriah has a bigger role in the next book.

message 56: by Mattie (new)

Mattie | 4 comments I mean I know that but still How are they going to introduce Uriah into insurgent like honestly. I mean it changes story/idea of the trilogy if you watch the movies and don't read the books... Even though u rlly should read the books

message 57: by Erin (new)

Erin Vastag Yeah. How are they going to introduce him. It will change the whole plot. And you can't just shove him in there and pretend he was there all along!

message 58: by Mattie (new)

Mattie | 4 comments Exactly my point I just don't get it

message 60: by [deleted user] (new)

I agree with Mattie on this. I mean you can't just have a character show up. for those people that don't read the books, I don't really like those people, but they're going to be confused on who he is. and with the whole zip line thing, it's true. If there's no Uriah, there's no Zeke, and no zip line. the zip line also seems to play a big part in this movie cause on every poster, phone case, tshirt, etc. there's a line cutting through the main word, ex. divergent or dauntless. the zip line also is featured in allegiant, and I think that's a special part, for those who have read allegiant I think you know what I'm talking about. but, I have a phone case that says dauntless on it and there's a line cutting through it which is supposed to be a zip line. THE zip line. and I think that Uriah should have ben casted in the movie, and it upsets me that he wasn't.

message 64: by Amanda (new)

Amanda | 30 comments Ya, and i wanted to see him, im pretty sure hes really hot ;)

message 65: by Robin45089 (last edited Feb 06, 2014 04:18PM) (new)

Robin45089 | 68 comments I think Uriah should be in the movie because he is an important character in the second book. Also he is very practical about divergence and is really funny.

message 66: by Erin (new)

Erin Vastag Uriah is funny! It will be too serious without him.

message 67: by Adrianna (new)

Adrianna | 73 comments Worming about to use a foul langedge

message 68: by Adrianna (new)

Adrianna | 73 comments Didn't mean to post that......... *face palms*

message 69: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (sarah8088) | 2 comments He really should of been in the movie he still plays a pretty big role and it's not gonna be the same without him

message 70: by Alexis (new)

Alexis | 11 comments I think they shoulda kept him in the movie it was dumb of them not to ugh..

message 71: by Rachael (new)

Rachael (classycupcakezz) | 12 comments I don't think he's really necessary in Divergent but once they get to Insurgent I think they will need him. Maybe they'll add him in then?

message 72: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 60 comments I hope they do!

message 73: by Leya (new)

Leya (leyasofpaint) | 19 comments Why do they make it so complicated...?
Those pansycakes never realise how important he is to the fans :b

message 74: by Erin (new)

Erin Vastag EVERYONE THINKS HE SHOULD BE IN THE MOVIE. There is no argument for why it is good he isn't.

message 75: by Lauren (new)

Lauren I'm pretty sure that they are adding Uriah in the second movie, but they should've casted someone to play him in the first movie.

message 76: by Erin (new)

Erin Vastag Lauren wrote: "I'm pretty sure that they are adding Uriah in the second movie, but they should've casted someone to play him in the first movie."

I just want to know how they are going to add him. Since he is a main character you can't just throw him in there. He has to be developed.

message 77: by Lauren (new)

Lauren Yeah, I'm a little worried that they're going to create something that doesn't even relate to the book. Another fear is if they put him in at a good point, will he be more of a side character? He's kinda important in the last book.

message 78: by Lauren (new)

Lauren | 17 comments Yah, he totally deserves a part

message 79: by Jeanaine (new)

Jeanaine | 4 comments YEEESSS!

message 80: by Sabeeka (new)

Sabeeka (fangirlsbynight) Uriah is one of my fav characters and is part of one of my fav scenes "will you sit on my lap tris" is one of the funniest scenes in the book and without it the movie won't be the same

message 81: by Claire (new)

Claire I love him but I don't think he plays a very important role in the first. He'll be in the next ones anyway

message 82: by Renee (new)

Renee (bigcookiedog) Uriah should have been in the Divergent movie. He was a friend to Tris when she needed one. And he has an important part in Insurgent.

message 83: by Brianna (new)

Brianna Demark | 2 comments How are they going to have the zipline scene and the real dauntless can't just automatically lover her. I heard he isn't going to be in Divergent but he will be in Insurgent and Allegiant...I don't know how that is suppose to work out.

message 84: by Ashley (new)

Ashley | 16 comments Yes. Especially since if they make the other two books into movies. He's such an awesome and likable character

message 85: by Lauren (new)

Lauren | 17 comments He so should have. he plays an important role

message 86: by Kennedy (new)

Kennedy Henderson | 5 comments He should be in the movie because he's freaking Uriah

message 87: by Ally (new)

Ally Bryan (allysbookshoparoundthecorner) | 40 comments I want him to be in the movie (especially because he plays such a big role in the future books), but I also want his introduction to be really good and not have him in just one scene. I also want them to find the perfect actor!

message 88: by Erin (new)

Erin Vastag I want him in the movie because he is funny. He has some of the funniest lines. But I understand why he's not in it. He is not in many scenes and it doesn't make sense to cast him to be in like 5 minutes of the movie.

message 89: by Lilia (new)

Lilia (_liliatavares_) | 2 comments Absolutely! He does have a part in the book that should also be in the movie!

message 90: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jazzyman) | 21 comments When I was reading the book, he wasn't really as strong of a character as he could of been. I think he was a good character to cut out, if they had to cut one out, I agree it is going to change the story a bit:(

message 91: by Katherine (new)

Katherine | 15 comments I think they should've had Uriah because
isnt he the reason Tris goes ziplining..

message 92: by Katherine (new)

Katherine | 15 comments He does also have key parts in the rest of the books, if not Divergent

message 93: by Shachi (new)

Shachi Kulkarni (icepen) | 27 comments Joshua wrote: "Well neither Marlene nor Lynn will be present, which is a shame. I like the aspect of giving a minor character in one book a larger role in the next. Which is the case for Uriah and the others. I t..."

I quite agree. The supporting characters in any book really flesh out the main charachter, so i really don't know how that is going to work. But I've nearly memorized the trailer and it seems pretty good either way.

message 94: by Erin (new)

Erin Vastag Katherine wrote: "I think they should've had Uriah because

Yes. Yes he is!

message 95: by Katie (new)

Katie (tiarose) Yes he had a major role as one of Tris's friends. he was also one of the only humorous characters. he shows a different viewpoint of what everyone thinks the dauntless are like. he also becomes more of an important character as the book series progresses.

message 96: by Melissa (new)

Melissa Papirio (smileallday) | 23 comments Uriah should have been in the movie because he becomes a more major character throughout the series.

message 97: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie Noel (wherestephaniereads) What noooo! I love Uriah he is a very important character.

message 98: by [deleted user] (new)

Uriah should definitely been in the movie more! Btw: he was in it for like one line. He is a very important character in the book because himself, marlene, and the other friendly dauntless born initiates were Tris' "other" friends to go to when she needed them

message 99: by [deleted user] (new)

YES YES YES!!!!! They could have at least made a part for him or make his part a little longer! At least they still put his name on the scoreboard

message 100: by Emma (new)

Emma I think so. He plays such a big part in allegiant. How will they introduce him????? If they leave him out of allegiant, I will be so mad...
