Sarah (Mood Reader) (bookworm1887) I was just looking for someone to talk to. This group makes me smile and I am online by myself with nothing to do at the moment. So I thought why shouldn't I try to talk to some of these people! So hello! :).

Sarah (Mood Reader) (bookworm1887) I am doing alright for a Monday night! How are you?

Sarah (Mood Reader) (bookworm1887) Wow... someone should be getting to bed! :).

Sarah (Mood Reader) (bookworm1887) Thanks and good night! Take care... I hope we meet again soon.

Amy (amyhageman) | 4 comments Sarah,
This is a pretty upbeat group. I haven't had time to contribute much, but I hope to soon.

Have you read any good YA books lately?

Sarah (Mood Reader) (bookworm1887) Hi Amy! Nice to meet you! I have not read any good YA books lately because I just recently got out of school for the summer. However I did just get done reading Chicken Noodle Soup for the Christian Woman's Soul. What about you? Any good books lately?

Amy (amyhageman) | 4 comments I just finished a series by Patricia Wrede - Sorcery and Cecelia plus two sequels. It is marketed as young adult, but it could very easily cross over into adult - kind of like a regency romance.
I have read Chicken Soup books frequently in the past - sometimes, when I'm feeling down, they're just the type of book I like to read. Although I usually end up crying because they include so many tearjerkers, it always makes me feel a little better.

Allison (inconceivably) Hi Sarah! :)

Sarah (Mood Reader) (bookworm1887) I've never heard of that series before but it sounds interesting. Today was the first day that I've been off from school and couldn't find a time to read. It made me sad. I have a special place I like to go to and read in the summer time.

You are right though Chicken Soup is sad but when I'm going through a rough time it's enough to remind me I'm not alone. Even at times it points out to me that other people are going through a much worse time. This Chicken Soup found itself a great lap at the perfect time.

Sarah (Mood Reader) (bookworm1887) Hi Allison. How are you?

message 11: by Allison (new)

Allison (inconceivably) I am fantastic, thanks for asking :)

Glad you found the group, we have a lot of fun around here!

Sarah (Mood Reader) (bookworm1887) So far it seems like it :).

Catamorandi (wwwgoodreadscomprofilerandi) Hi Allison.

Amy (amyhageman) | 4 comments Summer transitions have always been kind of interesting to me. I'm always very excited to have time off - but then it's always such a letdown to be suddenly not busy, and not seeing the same people every day.

I'm sorry that you didn't have any time to read today - maybe tomorrow.

Sarah (Mood Reader) (bookworm1887) Good night and Hi Cam... I may be heading to bed here myself soon.

Sarah (Mood Reader) (bookworm1887) Good night all!

Natalee (nataleem00) | 459 comments LOL, Misty... I love that line "it rubs the lotion on its skin". Most the time when I say it I get "crickets" and no one knows what I am talking about.

message 22: by Kandice (new)

Kandice I say it too! You have to make it sound almost lispy like him too, though.

April (booksandwine) | 312 comments I like to quote the fava beans and chianti line, only people make fun of me because I always mispronounce chianti.

Oh and where I am from it is 4:30 a.m. not a soul is online, not a soul is awake, practicing for graveyard shift SUCKS! Maybe I should read instead of waste time online.

Hey does anyone know what I would have to do to become a book editor?? I think this would be the perfect job for me. I'm just looking to see if anyone has any information. I'm not sure if there is a certain degree I would need or classes I should take. Any info would be great! Mods, let me know if I should post this somewhere else. Thanks!!
