I could see the windows too...that is odd because I also enlarged the image and that is how I found the windows LOL otherwise I couldn't see them. You are right....GR is weird :(

Wanda (wanda71) | 1770 comments Need approval for this book:
The Extraordinary Education of Nicholas Benedict

I too love the word defenestration--I taught World History and one of the events my students always enjoyed was hearing about the Defenestration of Prague! Several years ago, I was able to visit Prague and the Municipal Building where this happened--of course, it one of the highlights of the city tour!

not really sure which option you need approval for... but it works for both option 1 and 2.

message 76: by Janet F (new)

Janet F (janet_f) | 450 comments For Option 1 How about a window on a vehicle for example this airstream camper.
The Longest Road Overland in Search of America, from Key West to the Arctic Ocean by Philip Caputo ?
I suppose one could defenestrate from a moving vehicle but that would be better defined as "littering" :-)

does Baby, Don't Go (Southern Roads, #3) by Stephanie Bond work for the window - when I look at the paper copy (in my hot little hand) - the building looks to have a window in the frame (which is how they do it)

sorry, Dee. If it's there, it's too small for me to discern it, even after Googling for a larger cover.

Dee (austhokie) | 8973 comments boo - i was hoping since i had it in hand and could see...oh well

message 82: by Ty (new)

Ty | 563 comments well, there's nothing wrong with going ahead with another book and claiming it in hopes that the mods see it. You only risk getting on The Wall if they don't. heh.

...I do this sometimes. with lots of fingers crossed. ha!

Ty | 563 comments Diane Whitney wrote: "Will you accept Promises in Death (In Death, #28) by J.D. Robb for option A? The windows in the building/skyscraper on the bottom left of cover."

sorry no. That's just too small for the object to be clearly identifiable as a window (rather than pinpoints of light).

I can't link it on my tablet but in an earlier message in this thread, this book (and graphic novels in general) was not allowed. Also, it is under the 300 page requirement.

Well good thing this is a voluntary, friendly challenge, ain't it?

Whether it's a window or not, the book is below the 300 page requirement. Good luck.
