History: her parents separated when she was young and she lived with her mother and little sister, Emmaline, in a country house. When Anna was 12, a strange man with a hooded cloak turned up on their doorstep, her mother opened the door and went extremely pale. The man asked if Anna was home and her mother asked him what he wanted. The man replied with "I wish to speak with her" so Anna's mother moved aside, her head down. Anna had been watching from around the corner, now she moved out from her hiding place as if her feet had a mind of their own. The man asked her if she knew what she was and Anna replied, no. The mysterious man explained that she was a shadowhunter and so was her sister and mother. The man pulled back his hood to reveal a silver haired man about 50 years old. He told the mother, Emmaline and Anna that they were to come to the institute with him, to train the children. They now live there and are fully trained shadowhunters.

HISTORY

Born and raised a shadow hunter, Lee was hot headed and proud. She had fighting in her blood, her mother and father were killed on a mission leaving her with her older brother. They were inseparable, until her brother went to Idris and was killed by a ravener demon attack. Lee was only 15, she was in morning for a year before she was back at it even more determine than before.

Appearance: She is approximately 5'7" in height and has a relatively good figure, with no muscles showing - these are beneficial in battle, in her point of view, as she likes to play weak to her enemies before she bites them in the ass (not literally, of course). She has sandy blonde hair that is of an average length, and usually wears it loose or in a ponytail, sometimes with a beanie to hide her prevalent brown roots. Her eyes are an average combination of blue and green and are not too strange of a shape, although Jasmine's least favourite things about herself are her eyes, because she does not like how they do not match her brother's. Her skin colour is rather fair.
Personality: Jasmine is usually a zen person, keeping calm and never akin to engaging in brawls or fighting, only doing so if it is necessary. She is prone to keeping calm and being the peacekeeper in family brawls, never wanting to get involved but being the only sane one (at the time) to prevent anything from escalating into what one would feel to be alike to cold, brute war. She displays her liking of autumn in her looks, as she is akin to wearing lots of warm colours. She can be mischievous from time to time, usually delving into her repertoire of dark humour, and annoying people in the process. She does not tend to be invasive when it comes to people's personal space, as she is claustrophobic, and does not like much attention as result of this. In battle, she is a fierce warrior and does not hesitate to kill her enemies, no matter how bloody it becomes - as long as she gets the job done, she does not worry about the aftermath, unless she ruins her clothes. She is swift in battle and is known to be one of the fiercest female Shadowhunters across America, and one of the fiercest Nephilim fighters in general, beaten by few, such as Jace Herondale, who she has a running rivalry with despite their budding friendship.
History: Jasmine was born to the Tallstones, a small Shadowhunter family with little known background or association with the Shadow World. Their only known contact when Jasmine was born happened to be the Lightwoods, whom of which reside within the New York Institute, where Jasmine and her family now reside. Her family were hunted by a pack of demons when Jasmine was barely eight years of age; running between states, Jasmine's twin sister was killed in the battle, and her elder brother was temporarily paralysed and does not engage in demonic brawls any longer. Her father disappeared after the demonic chase, presumed to be dead, and has not re-emerged since. The remaining family members buried Jasmine's twin sister's body in a lake, saying their final goodbyes before travelling across the states to the New York Institute. She was trained in combat by Jace Herondale, who has since become one of her closest friends and one of her rivals in their shared skill sets.

Personality: She doesn't open up, ruthless, cold to many because she thinks it is best for them to stay away, broken, can be very kind, smart as a whip, loving, and fearless.
History: Her mother died when she was younger, her father turned to drinking and started beating her, he also in forms of punishment would experiment on her, he did worse to her than his other son (Sebastian) he injected her with (vampire, werewolf, demon, angel, witch, warlock, and faerie) blood, he trained her to be evil but even with her newfound powers she used them for good, she cuts because of this, she runs away one day and is adopted by the Herondales, she becomes friends with there son (Jace) who then she falls in love with, who causes her to stop cutting, he is always there for her, and she doesn't now that her father is hunting for her.
Weapon of Choice: Anything she can kill with. That could be a bow and arrow, seraph blade, daggers, her identical bracelet to her friend Isabel Lightwood (snake bracelet), etc.

Personality : They go with the flow and are very flexible and adaptive to situations. Mostly laidback and is a follower rather than a leader. Intelligent but not wise. They also have the capacity to forgive if wronged instead of holding a grudge. However this doesn't hinder them from voicing out their opinions out loud if the need arises. Negative traits are that they have low self esteem, manipulative, reckless, very indecisive and when they get into trouble with no way out, instead of asking for help they try to solve it themselves which of course, makes it worse. This can especially come in the way of teamwork and cripple it. Also has a kind of messed up imagination which would definitely make people uncomfortable if ever voiced out loud.

History : They were born into a normal Shadowhunter family who were accepting of their choices. Father passed away when they were 15 due to a demon attack he could not heal from. However their mother was there for them and they got through it together. They were teased a lot (not bullied) when they were young for their unusual appearance and still are, but they don't take it to heart. It's all good fun after all, no harm : )

Hi, I'm not too sure how this forum works, my bad if this is in the wrong place or if I'm kinda just stuffing up in general.

Name: Tommy Nightbolt

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Appearance: (Sorry can't find good image for this, I tend to be kinda picky). Medium height for his age ( 5 foot 8) fairly lean built, not thin but not heavily muscled. Light blue eyes, and messy longish hair with a fringe, and curling lightly at the ends.

Personality: Doesn't trust easily, but not naturally suspicious (if that makes sense) tends to stray towards sarcasm and lightly makes fun of people. Forgives easily and rarely holds a grudge. Doesn't mess around with relationships (romantic kind) unless the person is the one. Generally easygoing guy but eager to defend what he believes to be right, quick to argue if someone is looking for an argument but in most cases quick to forgive. Is determined to maintain independence to a fault, and sometimes not quick to admit he's wrong. Cares for the people close to them and would save 1 person he's close to over 100 strangers (is this bad????)

History: His father was an angel cast down from heaven due to and unknown wrongdoing. Still to pure to become a greater demon like other fallen angels (I hope this is at least semi factual) he wandered earth until meeting Tommy's mother (mortal). The other angels smite him for creating a child with a mortal, and she died a few years after giving birth (undisclosed). Tommy was 'cared for' by many different people, werewolves, vampires, even faeries, as they all knew about the angel spawn. At the age of fifteen he was alone, and drew the attention of Shadow hunters in the NY institute. From there, he is much like any other shadow hunter, however he tends to not be completely law abiding, and tends to toe the line, often causing the people he is close to to do the same.
