Appearance: (I can't find one with link but is this description good enough?) She's tall but slim, fit figure though and with long brown hair. She has red-brown colour in each eye and long lashes. People view her as pretty but she just thinks she's a normal and average Shadowhunter.
Personality:
Destiny is cold to people whom she doesn't know and shows no fear when it comes to demons, using her weapon with ease. When she knows you, Destiny has humour and can be quite sarcastic. She doesn't flirt with boys under any circumstances, even if it meant life and death because she has her own principals. Being an independent girl, she does everything herself and hates It when people fuss over her well being and such. Her fatal flaw is being overprotective to those that she trust, love and knows.

History:
Destiny knew she was a Shadowhunter when she was seven, when her mother broke the news to her. Her left arm is marked with a rune that her mother did when she was born and it was only until 10 that she got several other runes to protect her when her family went to Australia. Meeting several demons along the way, her dad died, leaving her, her older sister and mother alone. She swore upon the Angel to become a better and stronger Shadowhunter to protect her remaining kins. Living in New York since birth made it difficult for her to leave it and go to Britian for studies purposes but she visits often. At 13, the Institute found her and she stayed there for training only, going back home on weekends and ditching her future (studies) for the sake of her mum and sister. Do note that her sister is also a Shadowhunter but not at the Institute to protect their mother when Destiny is away.

A seraph that was given by her Father when she knew she was a Shadowhunter and she named it Michael, marked with runes of course. Michael sticks with her practically everywhere she goes, hiding as a Pen due to the glamour.

Personality: Friendly, humorous and nice just to everyone. Her personality is different from Destiny but they get along very well. She's an extremely strong Shadowhunter and she does all she can just to protect a mundane which is her fatal flaw. Anyone she meets, as long as it isn't a demon, she will make friends with them and protect them when they are in danger. She is well known among boys, next to Destiny and of course, flirts with them but in her heart, she only truly loves a boy, who unfortunately is a mundane.
History:
Her mother died giving birth to her while her father suffered from depression because of her mum's death. Her dad made a permanent tattoo on her to tell the person that would be adopting her their last name and gave her a knife, marked, when she was a year old in her cradle before giving her to Michelle Dawnbreaker. Averlyn's dad committed suicide to join his wife to watch over their precious daughter. So Averlyn grew up with Destiny and her sister, and their relationship with each other was just that close. At 10, Michelle, Destiny's mother told her that she was her adoptive parent and was very sorry not to tell her that earlier. Averlyn actually knew it long ago and forgave Michelle, still continuing to call her Mother. She went into the Institute with Destiny at the same age and they trained beside each other, just like real siblings.
Weapon of Choice:
Her knife which can spot the opponents weaknesses and is hidden as a bracelet due to glamour. She uses it expertly and her skills with it can be compared to Destiny.

Name: Evelyn Stormfells

Evelyn is petite. She just barely reaches 5'2, and is very slim, but still muscular like most Shadowhunters. Her long brown hair is normally pulled back in a messy bun, elsewise it gets in the way, but she does occasionally wear it down. Her eyes are a cool blue and filled with warmth, especially when she smiles. Overall, she looks very warm and motherly.

Personality: As head of the New York Institute, Evelyn takes it as her job to take care of all of the Shadowhunters. She cooks their meals, heals them when a simple iratz just won't do the trick. She also is a listening ear when her Shadowhunters need to talk. It's almost as if she has adopted all of the Nephilim in the Institute, so she doesn't need to have a family of her own.
Just because she's the motherly sort doesn't mean she doesn't have a backbone. If danger threatens, Evelyn is right up at the front, fighting like all of her charges. She's quick as lightning, which makes up for the physical strength she lacks.

History: She inherited the Institute from her parents, who had shared the responsibility before they retired and moved to Idris. She took this responsibility at the age of 25, so she's been doing it for three years, as of yet.
Before she took over the Institute, she was an active Shadowhunter. She took down her fair share of demons, acquired the thin white scars from the runes, and protected many oblivious mundanes. By the time she took her parents' place, she was more than ready to step back and let the other Shadowhunters takeover her spot.

Weapon of Choice: Blessed steel twin daggers that are marked with multiple runes. They were given to her by her mother, who had acquired them from her mother. Evelyn plans on passing down the family heirloom if she ever has kids. If not, she'll pass them down to one of the Institute's residents.

Name: Jacob "Jake" Everclaw

Appearance:

Jake's hair is a natural mix of brown and blonde. Some days it'll be curly and some days it will be straight. His eyes are a stormy gray. His figure is wiry, but he's deceptively muscular. He reaches 5'8, but his personality might as well add another two inches.

Personality: Jake love, love, loves making people laugh. At a party, he's always the one people gather around, even though he's never really been popular. He's just so seemingly carefree and funny that, well, it's hard to dislike him.
In reality, that's only part of him. The other part is the deadly serious part that's trying to fix the world, one step at a time. Seeing him in action is incredible. It's like he's the calm before the storm, except that he controls the storm itself. Given the choice between the two sides of his personality, he'd say that this one, the serious one, is who he really is.

History: Jake's parents were more of the scholarly sort, never really wanting to fight, so they lived in Idris. Jake on the other hand, wanted to be more of the traditional Shadowhunter, so they had somebody else in Idris teach him how to fight. At first this worked great and Jake kept getting better and better.
Unfortunately, in Jake's case, not much that starts good, stays good. The man that was teaching him started going a little crazy. It started out small at first, mentioning things about the Clave that were insane. But it eventually grew to the unthinkable: he tried summoning a demon to destroy Idris. He was immediately taken by the Clave and Jake never saw him again.
A few years passed and Jake grew restless. He needed to do something. He begged his parents to send him over to the New York Institute; to let him be useful. Finally, they agreed and he was sent on his way. Though he's set to arrive soon, he hasn't quite yet...

Weapon of Choice: Anything he can get his hands on, really. He's good with just about everything. He has a set of throwing daggers from his parents that he uses a lot, though. But he always has another weapon, or five, ready to use.

Sister Best Friends.
Alanna grew up at the Institution with her sister, Rosa. They were bestest buds, and could never be seperated from eachother. They always went out together.

That Day.
One day, when Rosa and Alanna were out, when they were about 13, Rosa was killed by a Demon on accadent. Alanna managed to escape the Demon's clutches, but ever since that day, she has sworn revenge on all demons, and avenges her sister forcefully. This is where she got all her strength; training to avenge Rosa.

Rachel has wavy blonde hair and bright blue eyes. She's on the short side of average, standing at 5'3, and is slim. Her skin is pale because she's inside more than she's outside. She also has considerably less scars than the average Shadowhunter since she doesn't fight nearly as much.
Personality: She always has either her nose in a book or her head in the clouds. The real world, even that which the Shadowhunters know is true, is too boring. She wants princes slaying dragons or a parallel world that only a select few know the way to, or a evil to come to the land that heroes must rise to stop. She doesn't want to face the harsh, often short life that Shadowhunters face.
Although quirky, Rachel is incredibly intelligent. She doesn't just read fiction books, after all. She's read a large portion of the books located in the Institute, although nowhere near all of them. Between this and the fact that she's an absolute horrid fighter, she generally helps more in the planning of attacks or the teaching of the younger, or newer, Shadowhunters.
History: Her parents were killed when she was two years old, so she remembers nothing of them. Since they lived in New York, the Clave thought it was only right to have her raised at the New York Institute. She's only ever been to Idris once, and she has little interest in going back.
Weapon of Choice: Her knowledge. When required, she can use bow and arrows with adequate results.

Relationship Status: Single. Hoping to one day be swept off her feet by her Prince Charming.
Other: Adores the friendly Institute cat, Church, who seems to reciprocate the feeling.

Appearance (Sorry for not providing a link!):
Zach can be viewed as charismatic because of his looks which includes a lightly tanned skin, charcoaled coloured eyes but ginger-coloured hair. He has a tall and lean figure, reaching to a height of 6' and 140 pounds, all muscles, no fats. His charisma comes in when he smiles which make his eyes seem a lighter shade, thus making them slight brown and very captivating.
Personality:
Zach can be quite funny at times but when he is supposed to be serious, he is. Other than that, he also has a sarcastic nature and likes to flirt with girls when he has the chance to. He likes taunting and teasing people, whenever he wants to. His other personality though, is when he is in combat. He projects a act of Abnegation - selflessness -, which involves him being protective of his fellow warriors. He is a great leader if need be and can lead a team just fine.

History:
Being raised up in a fairly wealthy family, he is treated by his servants very royally but he doesn't care about their behaviour, or what is expected of him. Whenever his father teaches him good manners, it all goes one ear in, and the other out which makes him quite a rebellious child indeed. At age 7, he learned a couple of swear words and tried them out, only to be punished by his father who was very strict with him and his siblings. Though punished, he was still cheerful and didn't take his father's punishments to heart. His mother died when he was 2, so he barely had any memory of her, only to find out when he was old enough to. Hearing the secret which was kept from him for so long, he went into a inner state of anger but didn't show it. He still keeps an optimistic front whenever someone asks about his mother. At age 13, his father decided to let him know about being a Nephilim. Surprisingly, he took the news well and bore his first marks soon enough. 4years later, he wandered around the streets and was ambushed by a gang of demons. Using his in-born skills, he grabbed a sword from a sword shop that happened to be nearby and hurriedly drew runes on them before fending and killing the demons by himself. His father learnt about this and decided to send him to the Institute, keeping him away from his Mundane siblings. (His father had remarried)

Personality:
Alex is a very serious person for her age. She only trusts other Shadowhunters and is only a fun, goofy girl in the institute (Unless it's training or something). When she's outside of the institute, she usually has a permanent scowl.

History:
Her Father was a Shadowhunter who married a Mundane. When she was born, she went to Mundane school for two years before her parents told her of the Shadowhunting world. It sounded thrilling, so when the Clave (Is it them who checks, I can't remember) knocked on their door, she willingly went to the nearest institute. Two months later, she heard her parents were killed by a demon who got into the house. She has taken life and her job very seriously since then. She feels like their deaths were partially her fault and still hasn't gotton over their deaths.

Jason grew up in the Westing family(Celeste Westing, Oliver Westing, Maya Westing, and Hassan Westing.) They were called to come to the city. There was a girl telling everyone about a rune that would give something. Jason zoned out. He was staring at a werewolf in her pack. She looked stunning. All Jason hear the girl say was a Shadow Hunter had to pair out with a Downwolder. He quickly advanced the werewolf girl. He asked her to be partners and she nodded. He marked her. When they were fighting Annabelle ,the female werewolf seemed to want to dissaper from his sight but he couldn't afraid that she would get hurt. He might love her.

When she found out that she (1) had a weird mark on the back of her hand (2) she could see things that the mundane lady that had taken her in couldn't see (3) she was very interested in sword fighting.
Eventually she encountered her first demon and a guy in black maybe 18 saved her life. He taught her about her "powers" and about being a Shadowhunter. Xander was his name of the guy who saved her. Xander started her training and soon she was finished with training one of the best in New York better than even Xander.

Her sister left with her and at age 8 Katarina and Bianca was found on the streets by a warlock named Julius. He took the girls in and cared for them until Katarina was 15. Julius and Bianca died in a fire on Katarina's 15th birthday. Ever since then Katarina has been moving from place to place, never truly settling down.

Holly Alice Darkmoon was born and raised in the London Institute, with her father at it's head. She was the eldest of her parent's two parents, and was often in charge of helping her brother train--not that she minded, she never looked at her wild, and care-free brother as a bother. When Holly was 10 (and Collin was 6), her father was removed as head of the institute for acquiring the nasty disease known as Demon Pox. Horrified, Cathleen, Holly and Collin's mother, stole off with them in the middle of the night, heading to New York, a place of new beginnings. Since then, Holly has only ever know New York, and she honestly doesn't miss her father. He drove their family apart.

Personality: Titan is, different to say the least. A leader, but not quite. A rebel, but she tries to behave. Brave but impulsive. History: well reader listen closely because this one is tricky. Titan was 6 and so was Fallen, and their parents were fighting a battle they couldn't win. The "vacation" they took was actually an excuse to work on a demon problem, well more so than usual. To add to this heart filled trip about 10 families accompanied them and 100 or so orphans came. Because the "vacation" was building a shadow hunter orphanage, in their line of work this was a break. In reality this was a new and secret institute from everyone except the 30 or so adults. so that no no about going behind the clave was forgotten, and new institute here we come. unfortunately the Demons were more than they could handle, they paid a warlock to erase the kid's memories but they would still have the sight of coarse and they died doing what shadow hunters do best, killing. soon two shadow hunters utterly useless each with a limp one born one an old injury came to care for them. the children would not be told unless there was a need for more shadow hunters. Well that is, if SOMEONE hadn't taken out a wall or three leading to the discovery of shadow hunters in the orphanage and a REALLY big issue. the demons her parents hunted aren't done yet.

He stood there, confused on everything he saw as the man fled the scene. Personality: Laura is rather intense, and not very people friendly. It's not that she's particularly dislikes people, or is overcome by shyness, she simply doesn't even think to start a conversation with them. If someone approaches her, she's friendly enough, even funny in her own cynical way. She's simply rather oblivious to social norms like introducing yourself when you first meet someone.

The reason for her obliviousness is simple. Laura's extremely focused. All of her free time is spent fighting, training, or reading up on different beasts and how to kill them. She's not sadistic in that she gets joy out of killing. She just wants to live long enough to avenge her parents, and that requires her to be in top shape. Shadow hunters seem to drop like flies when their not careful.

Laura does have a sweet side, though. Her one guilty pleasure is piano, which she uses to express herself when she can't find the right words, or no one cares to ask her. When she does grow comfortable with someone, she's fiercely protective of them. She also cares a lot for those she gets close to, however her determination to get revenge can overshadow her friendships and make them strained.

History: Three months before moving to the New York Institute, Laura's parents were killed by an orange demon with red claws and green eyes. After that, something inside of he snapped. She began to train and read up on monsters obsessively. She started picking fights with downworlders and lower level demons. She pulled away from all her friends at the Chicago institute, until the new head of the institute, who had replaced her parents, decided it was unhealthy. She was to be moved to the New York institute where, hopefully, the memory of her parents would no longer be too much for her to bare.

Hunter is a go getter if she doesn't get it her way when she asks she'll do it herself. It doesn't matter what or who she'll have to fight for she'll get it finished. If you ever try to get in a fight with her your already dead so don't even try to fight she'll either hurt you with words or her glass blades.

She does have an anxiety issue along with other issues like her phobias but her anxiety is her biggest because she always thinks that she is weak. History:

 He gave her a weird bottle and said drink up. She asked what it was he said he'll explain later. She did and then they left. She wondered why no one asked where they were going. She got into a big black limo hummer. There was Josh Chrisley. She knew he also went to the military school.

 She decided Josh is gonna be the only person there you kinda know, she befriended him. They began their friendship on the ride to the institution. Their friendship ended when they were both 16. And they became for then friends.

They began to date. When Hunter turned sixteen the Clave claimed that she had wolf blood in her. She screamed everything along the lines of Werewolf!

Now she moved into the NYC institute they allow pets and she's going to get Jai. She became parabatai with Josh and they were living good at their age of eighteen. Hunter, Josh, and Jai shared a room at the NYC institute and lived happily until present day. I mean as happy as you can be being a ShadowHunter.

History: Her dad left when see was young and is 1/2 fairie. Grew up in a log cabin in the woods. Mum was a artist, so can draw well and is 1/2 werewolf. Cammie knows magic but she doesn't use it. Because of werewolf blood she has super fast reactions, hearing and sight. She has a friend called Alex and they free ran and skated together but she died in a car crush.

Talia has silky, long (down to her waist), black hair that she usually wears in a braid down her back. Her eyes are icy blue and very intense. She's about 5'6" and skinny with pale skin.

Personality: Talia is very sarcastic and joking most of the time. She loves making jokes and having fun, but she very short tempered. Talia is insanely brave, but her bravery also makes her do stupid things without fear. She loves adventure and is always picking fights with downworlders.

History: Both of Talias parents were in the circle, but her mom quit after her dad was killed during the uprising. She moved with her mom to London when she was under a year old to London so her mom could run the institute there. Talia lived there till she was 10. Her mom brought her up as a Shadowhunter and taught her how to fight and kill demons. When Talia was 9 though, her mom got really sick and ended up dying. Talia was then sent to the institute in New York, where she's been ever since bettering her abilities.

Appearance: She looks very young for her age, mistaken for someone who is 16 or 18, nut she is really 21. She is short, only5’1”. She has light blue eyes with yellow around the iris. Her body is slim and fit but pretty curvy. Long and straight, waist length layered dark brown almost black hair frames her tiny face. Her pale skin is almost like a doll. Her wardrobe mostly consists of neutral colored clothes, she prefers them to colors. Most are skin tight, and easy to move in but still are girly.

Personality: Ashe can be a little shy at first. She is soft spoken, sweet and kind. She likes to read, and considered intelligent, soaking up everything she reads. She can be very tough when she needs to be, and is an excellent hand to hand fighter as well as being skilled with daggers. She is creative, and paints whenever she needs to relieve stress, most of her painting are landscapes.

Powers: Not really any other than the fact that she has a photographic memory, talented with a stele and with daggers.

History: Ashe was raised by her aunt in London, her parents died when she was young. She is the only child, and her aunt never married. Her aunt no longer is a shadow hunter but prefers to live a normal life, she gave Ashe the choice when she was young if she wanted to be a shadow hunter, and she decided to become one. Since then she has traveled the world, going wherever she is needed to hunt down rogue downworlders and demons. Now she is currently in New York.

Likes: Sunshine, outdoors, the night, starry skies, painting, and being by herself.

Dislikes: Thunderstorms, hot weather, sweets, mundanes.

Personality: Has trouble expressing emotions, though bright, steadfast to the point of being headstrong, and what some refer to as a born fighter. Growing up the youngest of four kids, the only girl, she wasn't coddled and prefers not to be; she'll always be the one who brings up something at the wrong time, and can be quite blunt about it.

History: Born to two Shadowhunters, the last of four kids and the only girl. She received her first runes the same as any other and started training as soon as possible. Her parents were the heads of the Dublin Institute, which she left for New York at eighteen for a breath of fresh air. Her youngest oldest brother thought about joining her in the nearby future and she already prefers her hometown.

Physical Description: Ashe is 5'3" and she is very light in weight, only 106 pounds. She does not have more than a pound of fat on her whole body. Her body is also rather on the bony side, though when her skin is exposed, the muscle that she does have is very prominent and somewhat surprising, considering her stature and weight. Ashe is incredibly flexible with a thin and nimble body, even by Shadowhunter standards. She has a narrow figure, with only slight curves, much to her dismay. Ashe has wild, straight, flaming red hair, a shade darker than copper and redder than one might expect, though not close to auburn. Her hair is extremely striking and lovely. It is thick and silky, usually falling in a mane to her mid back. Her hair is usually wind blown looking in a pleasing way. Her skin is a pale ivory, soft and lovely, spattered with a thick, agreeable layer of light brown freckles. Ashe has long red eyelashes matching her hair and slender eyebrows, usually arched slyly. When she blushes, her cheeks and ears are said to turn the same color as her hair. Ashe has dark brown eyebrows, matching the color of black coffee, though they shift shades with her mood, which is ever changing. Example: black for anger or desire, light brown for happiness.

Style: Ashe prefers to be comfortable when she is not clad in her Shadowhunter gear (tightly fitting, rough and sturdy trousers, a tight black top and leather boots). She likes to wear fitted jeans, usually faded with comfortable grey and green Nike sneakers. She likes tight fitting shirts and sweaters and/or sweatshirts.

Personality: Ashe usually carries an aloof and cold air, and therefore people do not talk to her much, though she does not mean to. She is astute and prefers to watch people and get a feel for them before talking. She mostly keeps an even attitude and temper, though if provoked she can become extremely short tempered and feisty, very quickly. Ashe has a sharp-tongue and can be very blunt if she doesn't like you much, though not usually to the point of rudeness. Her personality quite matches her appearance, striking, hard and blazing. Ashe is untrusting and she will not soon reveal herself to a person without knowing them, but underneath she is compassionate and loving, though she does not always seem it. Like a normal person, she has emotions, though she hides them well and you would not sooner know how she was feeling than know the feel of her blade. Once Ashe warms up to you, you will see a completely different side of this girl, she is quite witty and can be incredibly stubborn, almost to the point of annoyance. Ashe does not believe it is anyone's job but her own to tell what to do. Her loyalty and bravery is unwavering, she does what she believes is right and will take full responsibility for it. Ashe is abnormally cunning and sly about many things, including deceiving and fighting.

Powers: No supernatural powers, though she has enhanced stealth and is quite flexible and spry even by Nephilim standards.

Fighting Style: Ashe is not as physically strong as she would like to be and this sometimes bothers her, but many other aspects of her body are only heightened by the lack of weight. Ashe is more agile because of it and she usually uses this to her advantage, she is lighter and stealthier than the average Shadowhunter. Because of her thin and bony body, she prefers to use her elbows and knees in fighting. She is also abnormally fast, with the grace and nimbleness of a fawn and the cunning of a fox, which are her main attributes when fighting.

Ashe is trained and highly competent at many different types of acrobatics. She is also trained and competent in martial arts, monomachia, as well as many difficult fighting styles. Ashe is able to preform complex maneuvers that are difficult for most with a low level of difficulty.

Ashe has walls that she has built up over time to hold back fear and emotions that she does not want, she uses the emotion while playing her instruments and fighting and can sometimes be ruthless about it, though she usually knows when to stop. Ashe acknowledges others abilities and shows mercy like a normal human.

Weapon(s): Other than the typical Seraph blades, Ashe uses a pair of twin blades, they are both beautiful and deadly (like her (;). The daggers are narrow and double edged, one gold one silver. They have a nice black leather grip, fitting perfectly to her hands. The blades were passed down the line of her family to her. She knows them like the back of her hands, how much they can take, and Ashe can preform many maneuvers with them. She is also fully competent with a bow and arrow (recurve and crossbow) and a myriad of other knives. Swords are usually not her specialty.

History: Ashe lived in a small apartment in Manhatten for the first years of her life. She lived with her mother and grandmother, both well known and respected Shadowhunters, her father, Caine Fairmark, died only weeks after she was born. Her mother, Sarah Fairmark, did not tell Ashe of her true heritage. Though her life was great for the first eight years of her life, her mother taught her to play a wide array of different instruments and her grandmother taught her to paint. She enjoyed books and knowledge. Ashe was also taught, without knowing it, a variety of different languages (german, Latin, greek) including words from a couple demon languages. Though, on the night of her ninth birthday, her mother and herself were walking across the street from purchasing a birthday dinner and they were attacked by a pair of demons. Her mother fought and killed the first, though the second killed her and came for Ashe as well. She grabbed grabbed a piece of broken glass and stabbed the thing though it did not die and it would have killed her to if her grandmother had not killed it. She gave Ashe the daggers and with that hailed a cab and sent her to the institute.

Relationship Status: Ashe has never really thought of having a boyfriend though she would be open if the right fella came along.

Other: Ashe is part Scottish and she is left handed. She was taught from an early age to love music and her mother taught her to play the violin. She is quite skilled with her fingers and know how to play many instruments, though she prefers the violin or the harp, or really any string instrument. Ashe has one prominent scar gracing her skin from the bottom of her left collar bone to her just above her heart.
