The second is "Hiroko's Tale," which appeared in volume one of the "Fables For Japan" anthology. A young girl, blessed by the Haru-Dori, fights to save her village from the dreaded Tempest. The village is spared, but the young girl lay dying. Her Daruma doll, filled with life, sets off to find someone to save his lady.
