She followed him. "I should probably call my parents though," she told him softly.

She stopped in front of him and looked up at him. "How?" she asked soflty, looking in his eyes.
"They will come looking for me," she lied,
Rose nodded slowly, biting her lip. "You're right," she sighed, looking in his eyes. "This is too hard."
"I don't know," she bit her lip.
She nodded. "I hope so... I just miss them," she said softly, hoping her voice sounded convincing.
"No, no, let's go have lunch," she smiled softly.
She hesitantly took his hand.
She blushed and smiled, walking with him.
"You can choose honestly, I don't go out that often," she told him. She liked the way his hand felt in hers.
She smiled a little. "Fine... that one," she pointed at a diner up the street.
She held his hand and followed him. "Have you ever been there before?"
"Oh," she chuckled. She opened the door and went inside.
She sat across from him. "Please tell me more about you."
"Like how you got... exiled?" she bit her lip.
She bit her lip. "You don't want to talk about it?"
'Oh, okay," she said softly. She felt bad for asking him about it.
"But what happens to your wings?" she asked him softly.
"I know that, but they're like... amazing," she blinked.
She smiled softly. "And... are there like bad angels too?"
"But you aren't bad, you're good," she smiled softly. "Shouldn't you be let back into heaven?"
"Do you want to go back?" she asked softly.
She bit her lip and shrugged. "I don't know."
"I mean... sure it was where you belonged, but you left it behind..." she trailed off.
"So you'd do anything to get back?" She asked gently.
"Well," she began quietly. She felt a dull ache as she spoke her next words. "You could just kill me."
"It was a sacrifice... Look, I don't know anything about God or the elders... but it must mean something with my blood. And you want to go back,' sje said softlh.
Rose blinked as he grabbed her and dragged her out of the diner. "Phoenix?" She blinked, then, she frowned. "It isn't. It makes sense."
She bit her lip. "But why? A sacrifice is mostly for good things right?"
"But you want to go back right?" she said softly.
She couldn't help but feel bothered that he wanted to leave her. "No, not at all," she said softly.
Rose shook her head. "It doesn't matter," she told him. "Can't I just go home?"
They wouldn't be in danger because they were already dead... she thought sadly. She bit her lip. "They'll be okay."
"I'm not lying," she bit her lip.
She felt her mind go blank and she knew it was his doing. "Stop it," she snapped.
She covered her eyes, but it didn't help. She glared at him. "No, stop doing this."
"Fine," she snapped, glaring at him. "My family is dead. That's what you wanted to hear right? I live in an abandoned warehouse with more people like me," she trembled, pushing away from him. She just wanted to leave right now. Tears shone in her eyes. "I hope you're happy."
"I don't want anyone to keep me safe. I want to go back to where I belong," she told him quietly, stepping away from him.
"There is nothing special about me! I'm just a girl with no parents, who lives on the streets and fights for survival every day," she told him sternly.
She felt torn up between decisions. She didn't want to go inside, and she wanted to go home, but sitll, she wanted to find out about herself. She went inside the house, quietly.
She did what he asked and sighed. "What is this... are you trying to do something stupid?"
Her eyes almost bulged out of their sockets as she saw the tattoos. "What the hell?!"
"H-How?" she gasped. "I've never seen those before!"
She shuddered at the feeling. "I'm a freak," she was horrified.
"I still don't know what that means," she muttered.
"There's nothing special about me.. someone just tattood me when I was sleeping..."
She bit her lip, hesitant. "I'm a magical creature? What can I do?"
"You don't think I believe that do you?" She snorted. "Faeries.."
