"The Elders." they responded.
Phoenix crept in. He needed to find her. He wouldn't be able to live with himself if she got hurt, or much less, die.

They picked her up and strapped her to the bed.
Phoenix heard a thump and froze. He started to walk again after a moment.

He heard Rose yell and headed in that direction.
The Elders said nothing.
Phoenix stood in the shadows watching.
Phoenix stood in the shadows watching.
One of the Elders turned and looked at her. "Be quiet."
Phoenix crept towards her, staying in the shadows.
Phoenix crept towards her, staying in the shadows.
The Elders ignored her and kept working.
Phoenix reached out and brushed the top of her head with his fingers.
Phoenix reached out and brushed the top of her head with his fingers.
She shuddered as she felt it and she tried to turn her head, but because she was strapped, she couldn't really move that well. "Get away from me!" she gasped. "Just stop! Let me go!"
The Elders ignored her again.
Phoenix did it again. Letting his fingers linger on her hair. "Rose." he said in a voice that was less than a whisper.

Phoenix nodded even though she couldn't see him. He moved forward and began to unbuckle the straps on her wrists while the Elders backs were turned.
((Lovely...she blinked. :p))
He got them unbuckled and moved around. Deftly undoing them.

*to her ankles. To her ankles.
((Lol, I had no inspiration))Rose slowly slid off the table, but she was barely able to stand because of the drugs.
((XP))
Phoenix helped her stand and pulled her into the shadows as the Elders turned back around.
Phoenix helped her stand and pulled her into the shadows as the Elders turned back around.
Rose stumbled backwards with him, inside she felt like dying, because she now knew that he didn't want her.
((That's it. I'm twisting your plot. I can't hurt Rose again.))
The Elders shouted and scrambled around leaving the room to find her.
Phoenix held her to him. Oblivious to her sadness.

((Lolz, I like torturing my characters))Rose watched as they left with blurry eyes, she still felt dizzy and sleepy, like she could pass out at any second. "What are you doing here?" she asked quietly.
Phoenix's brow furrows. "Coming to get you back. Why would I not?"
((Did you know that Nephilim were real?))
((Did you know that Nephilim were real?))
((No? How so?))"Nevermind," she said softly. "Thank you," she gave him a weak smile and stepped out of his arms slowly.
((The sons of God thought the daughters of man were beautiful and took them as there wives. Therefore creating half breeds.))
Phoenix led her back out and to his and Arielle's house.
Phoenix led her back out and to his and Arielle's house.
((Yes. Do you?))
Phoenix looked at her. Something else was wrong. There was something that caused her to leave like she did. "Rose, what's wrong?" he asked softly.
Phoenix looked at her. Something else was wrong. There was something that caused her to leave like she did. "Rose, what's wrong?" he asked softly.
"I know that." he growled. "Why did you leave the club?"
He grabbed her arm but did so gently. "No. Tell me why."
"I just told you," she stated bitterly. "I didn't feel so well," she told him coldly. Because you were eating that girls face. "Let me go, I want to sleep," she told him, pulling away.
"Rose, what have I done to you? Because its obviously not the drug." he asked.
"It's nothing, must've been something I drank," she muttered, shaking her head. "I'll see you tomorrow," she breathed out, getting into the house slowly, trying to do it without tripping.
Phoenix watched her leave. She was lying and they both knew it.
She went to her room and laid down on the bed, curling up and burying her face in the pillow. Of course, the waterlanders came and she started to cry softly. She felt stupid for hoping that this time it would be different. No love was lost for her.
Phoenix followed her to her room. He heard her cry and walked in. "Rose, what's wrong?"
Phoenix gave her a pointed look. "Goddamnit, Rose, don't lie to me. I don't know how many times I have to tell you but you can't lie to me."
"What have I done to you? Please tell me." he pleaded. "Please."
"Rose, please, I care too much to believe that. Please tell me." Phoenix said softly.
Phoenix sighed and nodded. Leaving the room and shutting the door behind him.
