message 2: by Asha (new)

Asha | 1793 comments Sorry had to make brownies. Hey!!!

message 3: by Robingray (new)

Robingray | 295 comments Yay! So, any ideas?

message 4: by Asha (new)

Asha | 1793 comments I have a few you?

message 5: by Robingray (new)

Robingray | 295 comments Well, if you're in the mood for romance, may I suggest we spice it up with a little fantasy and/or sci-fi? After all, what a romance without a little superhero/super villain/zombie apocalypse/angel/vampire side plot, lol?

message 6: by Asha (new)

Asha | 1793 comments Yeah i totally know where your coming from! Lol i sounded really weird then.

I also had an idea about a blind boy and a girl who helps him and they fall in love.

But that was only an idea i'm all up for yours

message 7: by Robingray (new)

Robingray | 295 comments Ah, blind romance. Sounds great. But it should be a little more complicated than that. What if they both are 'Gifted' with awesome mental powers, but his blindness is still a henderance and while they're expected to go off and save the day, they still face the struggles of disabilities. Maybe she should have on too. Like, he's telepathic and blind, while she's mute and has some cool power?

message 8: by Asha (new)

Asha | 1793 comments Yeah that sounds really cool!!!

She could be mute and a pathfinder. Which means she can track a person or object through their mind. If you want it to be more supernatural

message 9: by Robingray (new)

Robingray | 295 comments Hell yeahs! So, are they superheroes, or, twist, super villains? Or are they just morally ambiguous?

message 10: by Asha (new)

Asha | 1793 comments I think they should start off as normal people and then if we want we can turn them into superheros

message 11: by Robingray (new)

Robingray | 295 comments Yeah, that sounds cool! Do you wanna be the girl or the guy?

message 12: by Asha (new)

Asha | 1793 comments Mmmm thats a hard one but i find it easier playing the girl if thats ok with you?

message 13: by Robingray (new)

Robingray | 295 comments That's great, I'm so much better at playing the guys! And oddly good at bling characters for some reason.

message 14: by Asha (new)

Asha | 1793 comments Coolies shall we make carries?

message 15: by Robingray (new)

Robingray | 295 comments Alright, you wanna make yours first, or shall I?

message 16: by Asha (new)

Asha | 1793 comments I don't mind i just have to clean me room. Post in about 10 mins.

message 17: by Robingray (new)

Robingray | 295 comments Alright!

message 18: by Asha (new)

Asha | 1793 comments What age should they be?

message 19: by Robingray (new)

Robingray | 295 comments I prefer role playing between the ages of 16-20. You?

message 20: by Asha (new)

Asha | 1793 comments Yep pretty much the same will post my carrie in a few minuets

message 21: by Asha (new)

Asha | 1793 comments Name: Brontie seedman
Age: 16
Appearance:
Img src="http://data.whicdn.com/images/1380705..."

Personality: Brontie is shy and timid around most people but is a little more easygoing around people she does know and trust.

History: She has been mute since she was seven, when her home burnt down with her family inside it. She has learnt to speak sign language and read brail.

Other: Brontie muteness has been caused by a major traumatic incident in a her life. However, this type of muteness is usually temporary. She is also a pathfinder which means she can track people and objects through her mind.

message 22: by Robingray (new)

Robingray | 295 comments Name: Lee Olivander
Age:16
Appearance: http://s2.favim.com/orig/35/beautful-...
Personality: Lee is quiet, shy, rarely interacts with strangers outside of his comfort zone. He tends to try and avoid talking to people by doing something with his hands.
History: Lee went blind four years ago when he was in a horrendous car accident. He's gotten used to being blind, but he still hates being considered disabled.
Other: Before he went blind, Lee used to play with a Rubics Cube obsessively. When he went blind, he was really upset that he couldn't solve it, until his older brother used stickers and paint to make little dots on the stickers like dice, so that Lee could keep playing it. He's solved it eight times since then.
Lee is telepathic, and can read the thoughts of those around him and relay messages similarly. It works best with contact.

message 23: by Asha (new)

Asha | 1793 comments Yay! Want to start?

message 24: by Robingray (new)

Robingray | 295 comments We sound ready! Do you want to start, or should I?

message 25: by Asha (new)

Asha | 1793 comments I don't mind you can.

message 26: by Robingray (new)

Robingray | 295 comments ((Alright))

Lee had himself situated on the park bench, fingers roaming over his Rubics Cube, feeling for the dots on the side. His big brother, Toby, wasn't far away, talking to a girl that thought his brother was, to quote her thoughts, like so super cute! Lee chuckled when he first heard it, but when Toby heard him he shot a nasty look Lee's way that the boy didn't have to see to know it was there. Lee didn't mind Toby abandoning him, he was perfectly content to let his fingers trace over each individual face of his puzzle, attempting to solve it for the ninth time since he'd been blinded.

message 27: by Asha (new)

Asha | 1793 comments ((Sorry i probably won't have as much as that))

Brontie slowly strolled through the park, her eyes of her feet. She had had another speech lesson today and although they were now only once a month she hated it. Why was it so important to talk? It was almost 10 years now that she had gone without a word and she was managing fine. Sure, she chose to stay mute and really that was a little ungrateful considering the kids she knew that were physically mute wanted to talk but it was her life. The guidance officers wanted her to talk about what happened to her family but what was there to say? They were dead, gone from this life. She sighed, happy to be outside.

message 28: by Robingray (new)

Robingray | 295 comments Lee's head perked up when a new line of depressing thoughts traveled through his head. He turned his head in the direction of the thoughts, even though it wasn't really useful. Tapping into the thoughts, Lee focused on the girls thoughts, fingers prompted by muscle memory to keep at his Rubics cube. The thoughts seemed sad, but had a happy tilt to them that made him smile.

message 29: by Asha (new)

Asha | 1793 comments Brontie felt someone else inside her head and un conscientiously connected onto the signal. She stopped dead in her tracks, closing her eyes and found the source. It wasn't too far away. Her thoughts came back to reality and she opened her eyes looking strait across the park at a boy. 'Hello?' She asked wondering if he would be able to hear her thoughts seeing as he was inside her head before.

message 30: by Robingray (new)

Robingray | 295 comments Hello, he greated back, turning his head back to his puzzle. So, I can see that you're also gifted. Interesting. What is it exactly that you can do? He felt along the cube, realising that somewhere along the line, he'd completed it. He smiled, content with these two occurances. Come sit down, you probably look odd staring at me from afar.

message 31: by Asha (new)

Asha | 1793 comments She smiled slightly and went to go sit next to the boy on the park bench 'i'm a pathfinder' she thought 'thats how i found you. I could track you through my mind' she hoped he wouldn't want to talk to her normally. For some reason she felt embarrassed about her muteness with him but she felt that he would understand.

message 32: by Robingray (new)

Robingray | 295 comments Lee picked up on her thoughts, not just what she directed, but what was underlying that. Mute. Interesting. He held up his Rubics cube to show her. Don't be insecure about your disability. We can always do great things if we have the courage to look past what hinders us, he directed to her, taking her hand and making her feel along the sides to feel the brail.

message 33: by Asha (new)

Asha | 1793 comments Brontie looked down at the Ribics cube that he had placed in her hands and his hands which were wrapped around hers. She felt the brail words: red, yellow, blue... 'Your blind?' she directed to him through their thoughts, not really believing him. Her smile got bigger out of everyone in the world the one gifted person she meets is just like her.

message 34: by Robingray (new)

Robingray | 295 comments He nodded, smiling at her. "I've solved those nine times since I went blind," he said aloud, putting the cube down next to him. So stop being a Debbie Downer, you're killing my Rubics buzz, he said, lightly bopping her on the shoulder. He leaned his head back, letting the sun wash over his face.

message 35: by Asha (new)

Asha | 1793 comments She smiled 'nine times?' She asked 'i can't even solve them once'. She watched him, not understanding how he could be so happy and so confident even with his blindness. 'How did you know?' She thought to him referring to the fact the he had known that there was something wrong with her.

message 36: by Robingray (new)

Robingray | 295 comments I'm a telepath. I can read your mind. I need proximity to get those little ones, but I can read everything you're thinking, he explained with a shrug. And to answer your question, I'm happy that I'm still alive. That I can solve a Rubics cube. That I have people that care about me enough to help me with my disability. You have to learn to enjoy the little things in life that make it worth living.

message 37: by Asha (new)

Asha | 1793 comments She sighed 'you have to have little things to enjoy before you can enjoy them' she told him sadly 'your so lucky your family supports you. My family is the reason i'm like this' the memories flashed back from that awful day and Brontie closed her eyes against them but they were still there, burnt into her mind.

message 38: by Robingray (new)

Robingray | 295 comments Lee frowned, reaching over and taking her hand. It was something that helped him in hard times, having something real to hold on to. Something to keep you tied to the present. One thing at a time. What's your favorite thing to do? Dance, paint, write, anything? What's your favorite way to pass the time.

message 39: by Asha (new)

Asha | 1793 comments She thought about his question for a minute, holding his warm hand in hers. 'I like to draw' she said to him though her thoughts 'i can tell a whole story that way without having to say a single word' she smiled, looking at him.

message 40: by Robingray (new)

Robingray | 295 comments Great, I'm going to show you something, he thought excitedly, standing up and pulling her with him. "Hey Toby, I'm going to go run off with a total stranger, see you later!" He called out to his brother, who shot a very angry thought his way. Lee laughed quietly, moving his eyes to where he would be looking at Brontie. "Come on, you're really going to love this!"

message 41: by Asha (new)

Asha | 1793 comments 'I'm not a total stranger my names Brontie' she thought, smiling and running along behind him 'how do you know where your going? Your going to run into something' she thought

message 42: by Robingray (new)

Robingray | 295 comments "Easy, I'm reading your mind to find the obstacles and dodging them as they appear," he explained, as if it were obvious. "And my name is Lee!" He lead her expertly through the streets, not once letting go of her hand, until he stopped them in front of a small, one story building. He lead her through the glass front door, into the main hall of the building. It was covered with murals on every wall, cubicals set up in the middle of the space to hang up canvases and papers filled with drawings and painting. Several people where scattered about, painting on the walls, stairs, and even some areas of the floor. "Welcome to the Cornerstone!" Lee chirped happily.

message 43: by Asha (new)

Asha | 1793 comments Brontie looked around in awe 'wow' she thought, not believing her eyes 'how did you find this place? Its amazing' everywhere she looked the ground, walls and roof were painted with beautiful colours and patterns. She was gobsmacked, it truly was one of a kind.

message 44: by Robingray (new)

Robingray | 295 comments "Used to hang out here before I was blind. Still come to enjoy the company. Wanna paint something?" He asked, leading her over to a cart stetled in the middle of the room, filled with paints and brushes. "An old couple that used to live here donated the building to the highschool art program when they passed away. The teacher takes donations to keep this place stocked, and it's open to the public. It's basically a community canvas."

message 45: by Asha (new)

Asha | 1793 comments She smiled 'of corse i want to paint something' she thought to him,'picking up a brush and a pot of green paint. 'So where can i paint?' She asked Lee, itching to run her paint brush along a white canvas. She had a massive smile on her face and it was plastered there for at least a while now.

message 46: by Robingray (new)

Robingray | 295 comments "Anywhere. They have canvases around here somewhere," he said, waving his hand in the direction of the wall, slightly to the left of a bookshelf stocked with canvases of different sizes. "Hell, you can even paint on the floor if you want, everyone here is really laid back."

message 47: by Asha (new)

Asha | 1793 comments Brontie smiled, looking around for a place to paint. She wanted somewhere on the floor so it would stay there forever. She picked a little circle of space over near the corner of the room and went to sit down. She wondered if Lee needed any help but knew that he would be just fine, anyway he could just ask for help. She used the green paint and started to paint a field with lots of trees and brushed around it.

message 48: by Robingray (new)

Robingray | 295 comments Lee went to sit against the bookcase, quietly humming as he played with his Rubics cube, mixing it up so he could solve it again. He liked staying here, where everyone had soft, quiet thoughts and no one bothered him. Brontie's thoughts seemed content now, a happy little voice in the hum of the buildings stream of conscious. The telepath smiled, relaxing in his corner.

message 49: by Asha (new)

Asha | 1793 comments Content with her park Brontie walked back over to the trolly and grabbed some brown and black paint. She saw Lee sitting in the corner playing with his impossible Rubics cube again 'really your going for a tenth time?' She thought to him with a smile.

message 50: by Robingray (new)

Robingray | 295 comments Lee smiled at the thought. Why not? I like showing off to Toby, he's clueless, he replied, laughing at the fond memory of when he had first solved the cube after the accident. It was probably one of the best nights of his life, the first time he made Toby smile since the crash.
