SOLVED. Picture book with the choice of a sad ending or a happy ending [s]

My parents read me this picture book when I was little (2002 perhaps).
It is a book about a crew of a ship. There gets to be a point in the story where you can pick to go to the sad ending or the happy ending. In the sad ending the crew gets ship wrecked and dies and in the happy ending they reach their hope again.

But happily, The Mary Celeste book was another I have read but haven't recorded yet.

I can't believe I actually remembered the title of it. I picked it up at the library on a whim years ago, but I guess it made an impression. I'll have to look up the Milo one too--might be useful in class.
