J.M. Guillen (jmguillen) | 2 comments When I wrote my first four novellas, I was working with a group of people who weren't very professional. We had ten thousand arguments over book covers, and we finally parted ways.

I was left with four books with covers I did not like.

Now, I have all updated covers, and never want to have my work associated with the covers on Goodreads.

Must I create a "second edition" of these books to put up the new covers? Will these same covers show ANYWHERE after I do that?

I just really dont want my customers seeing these old covers, and am confused how it works.

I'm afraid you're right. Because the books were published with those covers, we need to keep a record of them.

However, you can set the new editions to be the default, if you like. That means that the old covers will not show up unless readers are specifically searching for them. You can follow the instructions here to set a default:
