♪♫Gloria♫♪ Was anybody else going "Meh." To this books until the last 75 pages? I just didn't get into it very well.

Sorrel I liked it but it was a bit disappointing

That's exactly how I felt! The entire beginning was like "ug" but then all of a sudden it got so much better.

The first 50 pages of this book almost made me put it down. It picked up around 75, probably because I had adjusted to Sarah's writing style by then.

S Exactly! I've read just about all her other books, yet I felt like that only about this one.

Dee i did, but I think it was mostly because this was like her first (or one of her first books) - so compared to her later stuff, it doesn't seem as unique/strong

Fonni Sinder I really liked it, and I also really liked the main character and Norman, because it didn't feel drawn on. I like her books, but for example, this lullaby felt a little prolonged. This one felt the appropriate length.
