"Because there are bears in the woods," Theodora said.
"And Tigers in the attic," Eleanor said.
"And an old Witch in the tower, and a dragon in the drawing room."

ok. I see the difference.

Yes.

Here's the whole sentence:She tried so hard to ensure Franklin didn't experience the same throbbing void, but Fate, that unbelievably unfair witch, had stepped in and robbed her and her son of the future they deserved.
Zakiya wrote: "Would this work for Witch?"Sheltered him from the witch hunts?""
Wow, I didn't expect witch to have so many "ifs".
Short answer yes.
Long answer, I am looking for someone who uses a form of magic. Actually uses it, not an illusion. As for witch hunts or Salem witch trials, those people are accused of doing magic/spells. There is no real proof either way. So being accused of being a witch, as in magic user, is enough. But being called a witch as in a bad person is not.
Angie ~aka Reading Machine~ wrote: "Here's the whole sentence:She tried so hard to ensure Franklin didn't experience the same throbbing void, but Fate, that unbelievably unfair witch, had stepped in and robbed her and her son of the future they deserved."I don't think so that seems more like name calling than an "occupation". See the long answer in the post above.

Here's the context for mine, it's a little hard to tell without reading the book though if they're talking for-real magic or just joking around..."'...how much does he really know about this alchemy and cabbala business? How much does it mean to him?'
'That's just what I was going to ask you. I've never been able to find out-'
'Good lord. I don't know...' Hugh added with an almost avuncular relish. 'Maybe he's a black magician!'"
Sam wrote: "Here's the context for mine, it's a little hard to tell without reading the book though if they're talking for-real magic or just joking around..."'...how much does he really know about this alch..."
It sounds like they are accusing of a type of witch craft so I think I'd take it.
Melanie wrote: "Does warrior or "sounded like an army" work for soldier?"Warrior could be in the right context. A soldier would be employed by a government be it tribe, city, state or country. As long as the warrior works for a form of governing body I'll take it. A lone rogue warrior isn't quite the same as a soldier.
Army would be the group enlisting the soldiers, not the individual themselves, so no.
Dawn would either of these work for witch?"This is turning into a witch hunt"
"she remembered the witch hunt for shifters twenty years ago"

Yes.
Angie ~aka Reading Machine~ wrote: "Would Camping equipment be acceptable for Camp?"No, it should be the place or group.
Would either of these work for Camp:Once they got back to their "camp".OR
She'd drive them back to their camp?

Both would work

Not only had Ralina commandeered troops by mind control, her blood magicks allowed her to conjure up demons....

Yup, I'll go fix it now.
Ok all I am about to take off on the long boring drive across Kansas this morning so I won't be around much for questions so to help out from the first page here is what I'll take. 10. Native American The indigenous peoples of the Western Hemisphere. Will take the word or specific tribe. Will take Indian, Eskimo, Sioux, Apache, Navajo. Could be a person or cultural artifact.
cultural artifact. could be an Indian blanket or Indian pottery or such.
Boots is the only word in the list that must be plural. It can not be one boot. it needs to be plural. And I'm looking for the shoe not the thing you attach to a tire or to be booted out of somewhere.
Hope those help, I'll be around late to night to tackle questions for other things.
Would this work for indianLet's go, Sketchwood Pow-Wows! The only thing hot about school sports was the Indians.
This is a long shot, but will you take sitting Indian style for Native American?Or if someone asks someone how they feel about Indian food, will that work for Native American?
How about don't get into the fight with the fight with your little indian gear?also for sport is baseball bat or football field ok?
Would this work for king?He jerked out of whatever fantasy he was concocting of being the next king of the Octagon and rushed me.
And would this work for grass?
He turned away to look into the display that portrayed long wavy grasses, a fake pond and a few trees in the background.
Thanks Dawn!!
so, this might be a stupid question, If four out of five members have a called word and only one person doesn't does the entire group have to reread a book to find that word?
I mean, we would only get a half point anyways right?
does this question make sense? hope so :)

for native American, would "Indian summer" work?
"Strawberry spring is like Indian summer," he said, "only much more rare. You get a good Indian summer in this part of the country once every two or three years."
AND
for vacation, would "vacation week" work?
"Next week's fourth of July week." Hall nodded. The mill would be shut down Monday to Saturday—vacation week for men with at least one year's tenure."
AND
for Ice would you accept--> Ice Cream Shoppe?

Yes Indian will work.
Amy ~Lover of Books~ wrote: "This is a long shot, but will you take sitting Indian style for Native American?Or if someone asks someone how they feel about Indian food, will that work for Native American?"
Sitting Indian style yes, Indian food I think comes from the country India, so it would be a no.

Yes, both will work.

In theory yes, you don't have to read the book, but then you miss out on the opportunity to get the extra points from your other items. So you could not read but it will hurt your team.

Yes to all 3
What if a father reffers to his children as Indians?(I think that's what he means I haven't read the book so I'm not sure)
"My fort and all my litle Indians are here"

Calling someone a witch isn't enough we are looking for an actual "magic user". So if it is talking about Fate as a person who uses magic then yes, but just Fate is a bad thing then no.
