On chapter 6! It's really good. Interesting story.

I got to chapter 14 but I have switched books so that I don't get too far ahead.

No, put it aside for now to give you time to catch up. I am working on Partials and The Iron Knight at the moment. It's a really good book. I am excited to find out what happens.

I need to hurry and get caught up with Partials too lol

don't worry. I am slowing down. I had lots of time on Sunday bit now that I am back to work reading time is harder to find.

I'm only 11% in and it's so haed for me to get into it. But I heard it gets better so I'm going to push forward with hope! :)

it does. I am about 40% in and so far I think it is the least predictable book I have read this year. I have to keep reading to find out what mary will do!

I am only 14% done. I don't know why I can't get into it :(

Maybe it isn't your kind of book. Is there anything that sticks out to you that you don't like about it?

I feel like it's really slow. Other than that nothing really stands out that I don't like. It could also be that I'm not really clicking with the main character. I'll still try to finish it - I don't like not finishing books.

[Mandiann]

I like to finish too. But it can be so hard sometimes to continue especially when you are reading other books that you are enjoying more. I hope it becomes less painful and that you start to enjoy the story at some point in time. Keep me updated about where you are. I am just reading other books so I don't get too read ahead.

So I made it to 21% and I definitely was starting to get into it :) Yay!

I will finish today (my other audiobook in progress). So excited because tomorrow I will get to find out (view spoiler)[ if Mary goes through with the marriage (hide spoiler)]! I am very excited to find out what happens in this book. Normally I have many ideas and I find most books to be fairly predictable but not this one. This is one that I have no idea what will happen in.

I made it to 32%. It slowed down talking about the Wedding stuff, but I'm really curious to know what is going to happen between the four of them.

And is Fragments just as good as Partials?

I am almost at the end of it and I think I actually like it better.

It was slow at first and took a while to remember the whole cast of characters but the story line and world building are awesome!

Most likely, unless the second half of the book is horrible.

Have you read anymore. Sorey it's taking me so long to read - normally I don't but I just started college and I'm busy with soccer :( its killing my time for reading lol

I made it to 54% through - I wonder why Gabrielle is different from the other Unconsecrated. And I agree about his wife being bit, it's so sad that that happened. And I will read book two! The earliest will have to be in October though - will that work for you Mandiann?

I have also been wodering the same thing about Gabrielle. Love the use of roman numerals and the fact that no one knows what they mean. I haven't made any progress since I last checked in but should be able to finish this weekend....(hopefully)

I bought the dead tossed waves and the dark and hollow places on sale at my local book store in hardcover for $5 per book today!!! So I am ready for the next book when you are. october sounds great! Is there any date that works better for you?? I beleive Kathy and Jesse wanted in for the buddy read for book two as well. I will post in Buddy Reads and see if we can find an October date for book two that works for everyone!

October 18 works for me. And I own all of the books but they are ebooks, and the copies I own have no chapter separations lol

I'm kind of hating both Harry and Travis. I don't want Mary to end up with Harry, mostly because Harry and Mary...really??? And I just don't like Travis. Can't pinpoint exactly why.
