We're going to open up the group to the offers of a FREE book in return for an honest review here on Goodreads.

Here's how you do it -

- If you want to offer your book for a R4R then please post your request into the R4R Suggestions topic with your name and the book title, and a link to it if you have one.

- Then send me an e-mail to - elle.lainey@sky.com - with the words Read 4 Review in the subject box.

- Please include in your e-mail a Smashwords code, or a .pdf/.mobi copy of your book. Include a book description and if there are any age limits, e.g. 18+ Only.

- Please specify either in your message on the topic board or in your e-mail how many copies you are willing to offer. I would suggest between 3-8 for the group.

- Because we are open to younger readers, please specify clearly if there are any warnings required before reading.

- Once a book has been accepted, I will open up a topic for that book. The first 3-8 people to reply with a request to read it (depending on the number of copies available) will be contacted and given a copy of your book.

- All genres etc are welcome. All publishers, independent publishers and Indie authors are welcome. All we ask is that you have a copy of your full book to gift to your reader in a .pdf, .mobi format.

- Once a reader has finished you book, they are asked to post a message stating this in the topic for your book. Therefore if anyone has not completed the book within a month (we are being generous here) then that reader will be contacted and asked to complete the book or explain why they have not completed it yet. Extenuating circumstances can apply upon explanation.

- If any member does not comply with the rules and complete their reading within a month, with no explanation - or they are found to share your book with another person without your permission, they will be permanently banned from the group.

- All readers are asked to please post their reviews anywhere they can. Reviews are vitally important to Indie authors and if you can please post your review on the following sites, wherever you can find the book - WH Smith, Amazon UK, Amazon USA, Barnes and Noble, Goodreads, Facebook, Twitter, Smashwords, Kobo. Also, it can be helpful to pin the book cover to Pinterest if you have an account.

Thank you! I hope you all get some rave reviews.

As we currently have 7 open R4R topics, I will close submissions for the month at 10.

I am going to be doing some intense advertisement of the R4R topics already up this week to get the word out.

Once all copies are given away, I will mark the topic name with CLOSED, so that others know there are no more books left. At that point, I will check that all reviews have been posted by the readers.

In the last week of September, if no-one has posted in the topic that they have completed the book, I will PM the reader with a reminder that it needs to be completed and a review posted.

That is the whole purpose of this venture - to gain reviews from honest readers, in return for a free e-copy of the book.

Those in non-compliance with the rules will be penalised within the group unless they present a valid reason that the Moderators can agree upon.
