SOLVED. YA book set in WWII Greece, marbles.. [s]

-I read this maybe a year or two ago.
-It had a grey cover of Marbles I think.
-It was set in Greece, during World War 2, about a boy and his family.
- It starts of with him and his older brother sitting down against a wall I think and the brother bets that he could kill two birds with one stone.
-I think the boy narrates it..
-The boy often goes with friends and cousins to play marbles.
- mainly its about his family and his towns struggles with the War and Hitler and stuff.
- In one part they help a man, or a cousin hide in their farm or something.

I remember I enjoyed this book, please help :)

Hallee--was this YA or a children's chapter? Can you remember WHERE in Greece he lived? Athens, one of the Islands, the mountains?

I think it was more like childrens chapters..
He lived on a farm, with vineyards, so probably Athens or somewhere there.. Not an island, or mountains.
