I can only stomach a few pages at a time. So far this book has driven me to tidy J.'s room, make cookies, have a shower, and moisturise my feet, and I'm now considering painting my nails. that is not good.

I read through chapter 5.
(view spoiler)[ This one started off really good. The Badica murder was really messed up and the note... I am guessing it meant Lissa, but also isn't Christian's family small too?
Also, I just can't figure out what I think about her mother. She seemed really cold to her daughter. I get that she was mad because of her questions in class, but I could not believe how critical and unfeeling that she came off. At this point, I don't blame Rose for how she feels about her mother. I'm just hoping it gets better! I don't think the plot is all that bad, I just don't like Rose, and the writing isn't good for me.
