I'm still on Blood Promise, page 200, Chapter 13. I'm getting quite bored as this is REALLY SLOOOW. I agree that it's the slowest of the series, so far, even though I'm not yet finished.

I still find the Rose-slipping-into-Lissa's mind a poor instrument for us to know updates about her and whatnot. Although this is the only way for the readers, the stories are not even remotely close to interesting or worth the bother, at all. It's nothing major and this is bad. It should be something gripping. Or maybe this book is just slow and we'll get to it in time? Idk.

As for the end of Chapter 12, Rose is being a brat. If I were her, I'd really appreciate it if Adrian would walk into my dreams. This is their only form of communication to her. At least, he's concerned in checking up on her. Did she forget that Adrian helped her, and technically, her source of money? She owes him a lot.

I don't like how Sydney got out of the picture suddenly. Maybe I just expected her to really stay, or if maybe her leaving was done differently, I wouldn't be so bothered. The subject about the Alchemists and Zmay weren't given much attention, too. Like, WTH?

@Mei That's really nice of you but I have about twenty-five library books at home at the moment that I need to plough through, plus I don't actually own the books and more often than not he library takes a few weeks to get in books for me so it would probably be awhile before I even get a copy let alone read all the previous books of the series and my current library books too. Thanks for the thought though - I will simply be too long though! :)

I was thinking exactly the same. I remember a bit from reading the first bloodlines book, but there are just so few explanations of who/what all these different people are, and th heirachy, and why people are in danger etc. that its a bit confusing.
