I know they learned what they needed to but then when dimitri attacked they lost him i can see this coming back to bite them! when it came to bringing dimitri back lissa was so brave and i felt so proud of her she really came into her own and i couldnt believe how strong she was. lissa and christain did get one my nerves during this one and i wanted to smack the two of them upside the head for being so stupid.

Chapters 1-5: (view spoiler)[ It's so weird without Lissa in this book as much. I'm so used to her being around all the time! I'm really sad Rose left her, but this should be a good adventure for her. Sydney is funny with all her religious talk, I hope she's in the book a lot. And I hope they can find Dimitri, not to kill him, but maybe help him? I'm excited to see where the book goes! (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 6-10: (view spoiler)[ Omg that Strigoi attack was crazy! I'm glad the ghosts were there to help Rose take them down. Its interesting that Strigoi can see ghosts too. I wonder if they saw Mason spying on the captives in the last book? I really like Sydney. Shes a funny character and her and Rose kind of remind me of eachother in a way. The memorial for Dimitri was so sad ): I can't believe they're just saying that hes dead. I hope Rose can figure out a way to save him, and not actually kill him. If she can even find him, at least. I love the scenery for Russia, it all sounds so pretty. I really want to know more about Abe, what he wants, what he does, who he is.. I'm not too sure about him yet. Maybe Dimitri sent for her?!?! Omg that would be crazy. And I can't believe it was suggested that Lissa could heal Roses darkness! Wouldn't that be just as bad, considering whenever Lissa uses magic, Rose gets the darkness? So healing her from the darkness would just give her more darkness...... Idk. That silver ring is pretty cool, I wonder if Lissa will figure out how to do things like that. If Rose ever sees Lissa again.... I'm not too sure about Avery either. I don't like that shes replacing Rose. I think theres something up with her, but we'll see.. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 11-15: (view spoiler)[ I really love Dimitri's family. His mom is so sweet, his sisters are awesome, and his grandma is so funny! I'm sad that Rose left them. I can't believe Victoria was so close to becoming a blood whore. Ugh. Thank god Abe stopped it, but I still don't like him. Theres something up with him, and I'm sure we'll find out what. I wish Rose would just find Dimitri already. Going with those guys on the trip was probably the best idea to try and find him, but its taking so long! And I'm sad that Lissa is so upset still about Rose leaving. Its just so weird without them together. I hope they reunite at the end of this book. This book has been really good so far, just a little slow! (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 16-20: (view spoiler)[ I feel like Dimitri hasn't really changed much since he was changed, except for liking to kill and being a little more aggressive. Maybe he still is the same old Dimitri that we all know. It sure seems like that too me, considering he hasn't killed Rose and gave her an awesome room at the Strigoi estate. I almost hope that Rose chooses to turn into a Strigoi, it would make this book super interesting! Plus, I loved Dimitri and Rose together, so I'm hoping that can happen again. I would feel bad for Lissa, but the whole thing would be intense. Although, I feel like hes using compulsion on her, along with the blood taking high. Idk, I really love the direction this book is going though! (hide spoiler)]

Finished: (view spoiler)[ Well, I completely forgot to make an update at chapter 25 on this book. It was way too crazy! She killed Dimitri, BUT HES STILL ALIVE HOLY CRAP. WHATTTTT. I'm glad shes back with Lissa though, and helped her with Avery through her mind. That was awesome. AND ABE IS HER DAD OMFGGGG. This was all too crazy. I'm excited for the next one. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 1-5: (view spoiler)[ This book is off to a good start! There goes Rose again, making reckless plans! Part of the reason I love her so much <3 I'm going to be so upset if she can't be Lissa's guardian! How could the queen keep her from that? Ugh. Its so weird that Rose and Adrian are dating, but I like it. I loved Dimitri, but Adrian is also a good guy and I've loved his character since we met him. I think Eddie and Rose should be Lissa's guardians, it would make a lot of sense. They all get along, and they're both great guardians. Oh man, we'll see about how this breaking Victor out of prison goes! (hide spoiler)]

I'm really curious as to why the queen is being so nice to Rose this whole book, and what the reason was behind having her come in and name all her accomplishments? Probably to be Lissa's guardian again, considering her current guardians all died in the Strigoi attack. I really hope she lets Rose be her guardian, ahhh!! And I hope Dimitri finally stops being so stubborn with Rose and realizes she really does forgive him. That elite party was super weird, I wonder what all that was about. Anyways, back to reading! :D (hide spoiler)]

And who was Joe talking about?! Something about the guys hand.. I bet thats who framed Rose. Hoping for Dimitri and Rose to get back together though. Chapters 11-15: (view spoiler)[ LISSA IS NOMINATED TO BE THE NEW QUEEN! I kind of hope they can find her brother or sister in time, and then Lissa could actually be queen. I think she would make a great one. Shes kind and fair. Still waiting to find out who killed the queen though, I'm really eager to find that out! Hopefully Ambrose can be more help. Meanwhile, Rose, Dimitri, and Sydney are having one hell of a trip hahaha. Can't wait to read Bloodlines after this to find out more about Sydney. Poor Dimitri, suffering from the thoughts of being a strigoi. I feel bad for him ): I'm glad him and Rose have eachother, and they're not still locked up. Well, on to Paris to see Sonya!! Ahhh!! Chapters 16-20: (view spoiler)[ Holy crap!!! Sonya isn't a Strigoi now either!! This is all insane! They really could solve all the problems in the vampire world with spirit users. AND Sonya knows where Lissa's sibling is! Yay!! Victor and his brother are so funny together, but also so annoying. I want to know what their motives are in helping... Probably to get Lissa to heal Victor again. Lissa did awesome in her first queen test! I hope she wins, that would be cool. Sydney is becoming more and more badass every chapter!
